Freezer meal week ~ Lunch ~ Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

I'm trying my hand at Freezer meals this week. Today's vidro is a lunch Freezer meal call cheeseburger Casserole. Most days this week will be breakfast Freezer meals but I had some hamburger thawed that I needed to use up.
Cheeseburger Casserole
2 lbs hamburger browned
Bacon or any other meat you heart desires
Seasonings of your choice
onions (optional )
peppers (optional)
1.5 cups of cheddar cheese
Topping
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 c heavy cream
1/2 c parmesean cheese
1 c shredded sharp cheese
Put together per video instructions.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Be sure to put your glasses on!🤣🤣🤣

Looks delicious. I am nearsighted with astigmatism in both eyes. I can see objects farther away but can't read distance without my glasses or contacts. Still can't read very far with them. I still have to sit in the front row or right at the counter to see the board. I cannot pass the vision test to be able to drive either. I mostly burn things if I fell asleep due to becoming too warm. It makes me fall asleep instantly no matter how well rested I am.

I was hoping to make this but it needs more carbs. The problem with people on a diet is they start to lose a sense of what tastes good.Been there, when I was taking away things from my diet I would think something tasted so good but it only tasted that way because I was so hungry.

I'm 70 and believe me I understand joint pain. My doctor said to go low carb, lol, no happening. Instead of cutting out all my carbs I cut out dairy and sugar. It been 6 months and I don't have near the joint pain and brought my bad cholesterol level down.

I’m always hesitant to use wooden utensils with meat. I usually use my heat resistant rubber/plastic ones. Fear meat residue is absorbed in the wood. Is there a need for this concern? I do love using my wooden utensils. Thanks!

No concern..! Use the wooden utensils..! I have been using them since I began cooking. After 53 years of marriage neither of us has died because of ‘salmonella’ from a wooden spoon..! I’d say I would have more concern about plastic leaching all sorts of harmful elements into cooking..!

We bought from area farmers for additional fruits & veggies to can & freeze during harvest season. These were daily staples and sweets were for special occasions.

Thanks for saying that … my son has been on a low/no carb, high protein diet and lost 75 lbs.. and counting… it’s sustainable, you don’t eat as much because it’s very filling. Keeps you going longer. After awhile, you don’t even miss the carbs. Yes, it is up to each person… no one should tell you what’s healthy or not. We need to figure it out..! Whatever works for you..! Thanks.. You must have a hankerin' for heavy fattening cream, I've never ever seen anyone use it so often in so many recipes. Darling, it is very bad for your heart. Why don't you cook lowfat and that usually means, a lovely seasoned meat, veg, side, with a salad. It's a good way of eating, oh and also, cut those bites in half and your portions way down from what I see. If you try to eat this way it is good for your family and you will be in a bathing suit by June. The taste you took was enough for a meal. Rethink what your watching and think calories.
