Cinnamon Rolls

Rolls
1 cup warm milk
1 Tbls instant yeast
2 Tbls sugar
1 tsp salt
3 Tbls softened butter
1 egg
3 or more cups AP flour
filling:
half stick of butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbls cinnamon
glaze:
2oz cream cheese
1/2 stick of softener butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
vanilla
3-6 Tbls water
Make as video directs
bake at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes
glaze while rolls are warm

Merry Christmas to all of you. While I missed my family, friends, church, and restaurant the night before since our governor outlawed all meetings, Christmas was still lovely. We had 3 amazing praise reports in the last 3 days: no cancer for a close friend, no heart attack for his son, and my cousin came home after over a week in the hospital where we didn't think he'd live! Our God is so good, it's Christmas, everyone's home, and I am "a child of the King." It doesn't get any better than that! May God bless you all and keep you safe.

I made these and my family loved them. I made them a second time and doubled the cinnamon/sugar and added pecans. I also made a batch with garlic/parmesan/green onions to have tomorrow night with spaghetti. I can't wait to try them. I wish I could share the pictures. Thank you for the great recipes.

Yum! This was the tradition of my mom and dad to make cinnamon rolls or tea ring for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yeast still intimidates me, lol. We had homemade biscuits, sausage and gravy yesterday also. Also tried a new recipe for a pastry that required rolling chilled dough between wax paper. It was a disaster sticking to the wax paper. Put it into the freezer which helped. I won't be fixing that recipe again, lol.

Next time, dice a green apple into really tiny cubes. Fry in a little oil until brown. Add rasins. Add crushed pecans. Roll it up with the brown sugar. Instead of white icing, take a large orange, orange zest and juice it into the pan. Add sugar. Let it get into a thick syrup. Whip in butter like you would a gravy. There. I hope you try these. Its all I can give to you cause this video is great! Thank you for your page. Bless you.

What I want to know is the temperature in your kitchen and the temperature and humidity outside? I would also like to know what temperature was the milk because I tried to make bread once and it was terrible. So now I have a Kitchen-Aide mixer and I want to try making rolls.
