Yep, my daughter has texture issues so I Purée my onions and freeze them in ice trays, and then put them in the big freezer bags. I did the same with garlic or anything that has a texture to it to put it in my foods for the girls not to hear the crunch or bite into it, but it still gives full flavor of the onion in my meals.

Your chicken pot pie is the best chicken pie I have ever made, it was devine! ! Plus you saved me with the way you did the crust on top! Breaking it into pieces is brilliant. I bought a ready made crust deep dish bottom and then was going to cut out the top from a roll of pastry that I had bought, but it fell apart when I tried to unravel it. So, I remembered hat you had done and broke it into pieces and oh my goodness, it looked brilliant and saved the day. Thank you, thank you Leslie!

Happy Monday.. cottage cheese is very close to ricotta and I use it myself it's easier and have it one hand always love cottage cheese .. it's very similar to my teachers delight.... It had a whole block of cream cheese along with the sour cream. I guess you could leave out the sour cream since there was only a little bit added.

Leslie, this spaghetti dish looks delicious. I must try to make it! One thing I will suggest is, drain your ground beef before seasoning. You lose a lot of flavor in the grease when you paper towel the fat off if you season it first. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe 💕🙏🙏

I found a recipe about 25 years ago and it was a favorite of the actor William Conrad; it was called Fat Man's Casserole. It has the exact same ingredients as the Million Dollar Spaghetti recipe.

I always think of Paula Dean saying the first time you make a recipe always follow it exactly. Then the next time you can adjust it to your liking. But if you know you don't like an ingredient why would you put it in there? The problem is that sometimes changing an ingredient really alters the end result. I hate mushrooms and left them out of a casserole I was making. Came out too dry. Yuck!! I laugh when you add 1/2 cup of vanilla and call it a teaspoon. I always think "There she goes again" Hahaha

@@davidnorvell6066 I tried to share a link to a recipe I found on Pinterest but it is not showing up here. Mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 T. sugar, or sugar substitute (I use about 5 drops of liquid stevia), 1 T. baking powder, and 1/2 cup all purpose flour. Mix well and add a little water if it is too thick. Drop by spoonfulls into hot oil and fry until browned then flip and brown the other side. It is delicious with maple syrup. If you want it savory, leave the vanilla and sweetener out.

Hey Les, I am so sorry that you are disillusioned with your garden. I was the same way. I hate weeding. So we took some cinder blocks and made above ground garden beds. Some beds are @ 4X10, others are @ 4X4, etc. You can make them any size you like. I have had them for 15 years. They are so easy to garden with. Why don't you get Bryant to make you a couple to start with, and plant a couple tomato plants (or dig up the ones you have and replant in the beds. I promise you will love them. If anyone mows around them, tell them to mow, throwing the grass AWAY from the beds so no grass seeds, etc, get in them. You may have to add a little dirt or compost every year but that is about all you'll need. I like in Cary so we have the same weather conditions. You will LOVE them.

@@M00nflowers No, you build or frame, a garden bed with the cinder blocks. I like cinder blocks because they don't rot or attract bugs. They are study and can be moved easily.
