Love the Hibiscus vibe, many moons ago when I was in Singapore I had a hibiscus ice tea. Back then I wasn't into the herb world so I didn't try to figure out what else was in it, but now with you adding the orange peel, it could have been a citrus. Have fun on your trip, how blessed to have all those generations together. I remember those days. cherished memories

I love the North Carolina coast! My favorite beach is in Emerald Isle. My sister lived in Jacksonville for quite a few years, and I would go there to visit in the winter. Then, she would come to visit Michigan in the summer, and we would go to our favorite beaches on Lake Michigan near Ludington.

I learn so much with each and every video you create. Thank you so very much for offering so much information. Can I use dried St. John’s wort to infuse in olive oil? Someone it has to be fresh but I can only get my hands on dried right now and in desperate need of salve. ❤
@reibersue4845Ай бұрын
All my herb books say infuse dried into oils. The fresh has water content that will make your oils mold and go rancid quickly.
@TheHoneysteadАй бұрын
Yes! You can use dry! Most herb books do say to use dried herbs because there is a chance of spoil :)
@Naya-ku8wsАй бұрын
Ok, I was confused because a store close that sells dried says that St. John’s wort will lose all medicinal properties when dry… but I didn’t think so.

Not really a question about tea, but is all species of ginger good to use, or is there a specific one to use in herbalism?
@stacetriebwasser6425Ай бұрын
My wife has a bunch of butterfly ginger that her Mother had planted for an ornamental and I was just wondering if that species would be good to use. From the research I have done so far, it does have medicinal properties.

Maybe you can give me some advice? When buying herbs from retailers, how do I know if they organic? Is the company liable to help issue a notice or certificate? I'm from South Africa and we have two or 3 big herb retailers, but sometimes I get plant matter that looks ' off' Not in anyway meant to say that I don't trust them, I just want to make sure I get what I pay for. 50% of herbs/plants does not grow in our environment so I have to buy in. Do you have some advice?
