I have that dog kennel pen. A weasel got in and killed all my hens. Covered it with chicken wire. They have been safe for the passed year.

I had a filly born from my wild Mustang. The mother would not let me touch the filly. When the filly was 3 months old, she ended up with a bad case of colick and I had the vet come out and told him that she had not been halter trained because her mother would not let me touch her. So my son and I got the mother out into the pasture. I rubbed the halter over her, she was fine with that and I put the halter on her and put a little Pressure on the halter, she resisted a little and I released the pressure, then I got her to take a few steps and praised her and then she started leading her and she was perfect. I took her over to the driveway and when the vet came up he asked me if she was the horse that had never had a halter on and I told him yes. He was impressed.

Something to consider about the new chicken pen/coop; I'm not sure the chickens are going to be safe unless you add some chicken wire or such over the top. Those pesky racoons and other predators that can climb will easily make havoc and destruction and the chickens will not be able to escape. Give it some thought. Chip 66 looks fabulous!

I love that your grandmother's house was there in town for us to see. I like your chicken roost. Chickens like to go to the highest spot to roost. They will all be competing for a higher rung on the corporate ladder. Your colt is beautiful and sweet. Thanks for the video.

Putting an older horse that is cow wise in with the young horse is a good idea. The older more experienced horse will show the young ones that cows are nothing to be afraid of. 🤔😉💖

Better pasture management (picking up the manure) would cut down on the flies. And the dried manure could be used for garden enrichment and growing plants.

Get yourself a bottle of regular Skin so Soft from Avon. Use on yourself & animals. Before going out side. Cover any skin that’s exposed with it. That’s so the flies & other insects won’t pester you while your outside with animals.? The smell is much nicer than the bug spray. Once you try it you’ll like it. You more than likely use it frequently. Horses don’t shun from the smell, like sometimes from bug spray. Best of luck. Continue what your doing so well. GOD BLESS ALL YOUR FAMILY.

Yes Alan that Daisy seems to be a little heads up when it comes to cows. Perhaps something in her past. Yes that sounds like a good idea to put different horses out. Yes maybe take Ehoe back take another horse instead of Daisey and see if they except the cow. It looks to me that Ehoe is taking the fear of the cow because Daisy is his herd leader. Some time that fear thing could come back in riding them. Most of the time horses dominate the cows or get along with them after a short time together. Keep up the great videos

Rats 🐀, Dasiey is just a good looking horse 🐎, but she wouldn't be a good ranch horse. Most ranchers are looking for 🐄 Cowie horses 🐎 that work driving cattle. I hope you get her useful around cattle and not to jumpy.
