Certainly, the man who stopped to check on the idling police car 🚓 🚔 🚨 to see if the trooper was ok is a hero in this story. He used the officer's car radio to call for help, and as a result, the officer wasn't alone in the snow for a long time. Bless that caring citizen as well as the slain trooper.

I was just in Harrisburg, PA. Saw an old man who had a hat that read "Retired NJ State Trooper." Mentioned Lamanco and this episode. He was actually at the scene right after he was shot. When he got the call on the radio, he drove from Totowa, NJ to the scene of the shooting in 16 minutes. He knew the area, and searched for the suspects on an ATV.

I am in no way justifying anything that these men did but they keep using the word "radical". Just because something is anti-government doesn't necessarily make it "radical". They said the same thing about Ruby Ridge where innocent people were murdered(yes, I said murdered because that's what it was, MURDER) just because the dude hates the govt, lived off grid and had a lot of guns! Just because the feds say that someone or something is radical, doesn't mean that it is! And frankly, if the state Trooper that was murdered reacted the way it shows in the skit Just because the driver had a gun, it makes you wonder why! Again, I'm not saying he deserved to be killed but it does bring up a lot of questions! And for the last time: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ASSAULT RIFLE! "Assault" is an action. It has nothing to do with guns specifically!
