I have a few recent videos on my channel about the WP movement in Chch in the 90s. there are a few of the old crowd around, but they aren’t reformed, they got old and retired. I dont know many who would be keen to talk about their past, but I agree, it would be good to see.

A lot of people do not know it was Christ who lifted the Maori out of their old ways in the 1800s. Here again, in the 2000s, he is doing it again. I am so glad to see the change in heart of these fellas. They are changing the future path of all who come after them.

Christ has NOTHING to do with it infact Christ has nothing to do with Māori period sick of people thanking god for shit when the praise should go to themselves
@HTDSNZКүн бұрын
@justycescott7 All you have done with this comment is show your own ignorance of our history. The tribes converted to Christianity, and it was Christianity that drew them away from tikanga, utu and cannabalism. This is what the chiefs had to say on the matter themselves. You sound angry, maybe you should get to a church and you will find people who will care about you. All said in kindness to you, All the best.
@badenteare761111 сағат бұрын
@@HTDSNZ This is correct - Christ also gave us the power to break our superstitions. I rmember my mum (boomer) reminding us to call on Jesus when those maori heebee geebees come a knocking. And we did. And it worked. That spoke volumes in itself....our spirituality as a people is staunch and true - but not immune to darkness. Christ brought the light and we have found our way out.

Use to live in whk 10 years ago. Lived there for 8 or so years in the hood in kingi place right around the time the outbacks started. Every member I got to meet were awesome people my house was safe and family were safe. Even done my community work with the late president of the movement and learnt alot about them while doing it. Living in whk taught me a diffrent way of life for the good and to not look at patch members as a "gang" but as a whanau. Seeing them progress how they said they wanted it to progress back then is wicked.

HHHHayche… that’s the Aussie pronunciation lol. I’m kiwi too but foreal I think that’s the proper way to say the letter. Because when you pronounce words with H in it. It emphasises the letter to pronounce it like Hayche lol like house, horse, hotel and hammer.
