Looking at Izzy i think about how recently my autistic child suddenly began inconsolable screaming and causing injury. We realized that there was monosodium glutamate in the foods we were eating and going back to the tests, there's a list of certain food additives he needs to avoid, MSG and azodyes included. It took a few days before the screaming stopped. His mood improved and it's the first night he's sleeping in 3 days. It's difficult to find these triggers of anxiety which may be different for every child. I pray all gets better soon. ❤

​@@TheFeltsFamily My sister has sever autism and she would pick at her lips til they would bleed. So my dad took a zip up hoodie put PVC pipes the length of her arms inside the sleeves and put it on her backwards so the zipper was in the back. The pipes would make it so she couldn't bend her arms to self harm. I can only imagine how hard it is to try so hard to re direct Izzy only to see a min later she's hitting again. So just a suggestion that might help. Have a blessed weekend ❤

What about trying those wristbands or wristlet tethers / they wrap around the whole hand and then she can bite down safely in between your other remedy’s / she could have some kind of mouth pain or infection a cavity’s cramped teeth/ but try that wrist holding tether to see if it will give you and her a little break / god bless ✌️💕✌️👋

First of all, you look so pretty in that color top this morning. I feel for you with everything breaking down at the same time. Thing is, my husband is a mechanic and one of those guys that can fix anything. I've heard him say he wishes he didn't know how to do that though. Will keep praying for your Izzy. Bless you all.

Oh Ashley your week sounds as bad as mine was, thank you Jesus for still being there with us even when we want to stamp and shout and say rude words. Seeing Izzy in her cocoon brought tears to my eyes, Jesus certainly sent her to the right family when he sent her to you. Mika is really getting bigger, her giggle is so cute and funny. Hey!! So my son has a rare genetic disorder called mowat Wilson syndrome!! He is 15 months old and has gotten mnri 40 hours a month and started at 3 months (gets it every month). It was nice to here you say that mnri has helped your daughter a lot!

Yes!! He will walk by 22 months and crawled at 12 months. Most MWS don’t walk until 5!! He is a very good baby

Have you tried a Woombie Soothie Suit? I’ve heard that it can be used with older special needs children (like swaddling an infant). Praying for your family.

Maybe Izzy is reacting to underlying tension. Would massage help? Or vibrating pad. Rebuke the devil. Gather and lay hands and pray over her. Blessings. What about a mouth guard. Maybe melatonin.

My adopted special needs adopted child seems to have a similar sensory profile to your Izzy especially in relation to her head and face. My child LOVES the sensory input of a kids full face motorbike helmet. Gives deep pressure on face, around eyes and mouth. Let me know if you try it. Nx

Have you ever thought about seeing a professional like a therapist? That can perhaps help you find some better coping methods in dealing with Izzy? Or some respite with a professional that can come in and relieve you? As a back up person. I know sometimes Rainey watches her for you though.

No mam- I’m not in need of a therapist or new coping methods. We all have a good head on our shoulders and manage good together. I understand what you’re saying, However, just because we have challenges doesn’t mean we need expert help. I do have a great support system and I’m able to get time alone anytime I need. ❤️

Lol, Ashley. You’ve definitely had a rough week! I hope you can take some time out for yourself, even if it’s just to relax in the tub or curl up & read a book. If it’s any consolation, my youngest son’s phone just broke. It took a week to get a replacement because of the stupid insurance policy. Apparently, if your phone isn’t physically damaged (cracked or dropped in water), you have to file a warranty claim through your phone carrier. What should’ve normally taken a day, took a whole week! On top of that, our heat is acting up too! One minute it’s blowing out warm air & the next, nothing! My husband who is always hot tells me, it’s not cold, but being anemic, I feel the slightest chill. Anyway, I’m glad everything is coming together on your end. As for Izzy, you’re doing all that you can do. Just know in time, this too will pass, & you will have your happy, giggling, dancing feet little girl back again. So is life. Hang in there, mama.

What is so encouraging about all of that is that you all are faithful to Jesus! All that was, I feel, a ploy from the enemy to discourage you, and praise God it didn't work. Just know that God sees you and what you are going through and He is so proud of you guys. He has plans for y'all! 🥰

I am not sure how you, as a complete stranger, have come to the conclusion that you know what's best for our family or our family's capacity to care for more? I also wonder how a "fluke" of inconveniences, such as a broken car and washing machine, also equates to we can't care for another child? Investing a whopping 20 minutes of your time in watching our family vlogs, once a week,, does not make you an expert on what our family can or can not handle. We have wisdom and we know what's best for our family. More importantly, we make decisions based off the Lord's leading.

You are correct in stating Sara's rudeness. However, you are incorrect in your last statement. I don't do anything for views or money. In fact, if money/views was the driving factorm then I definitely would not be talking about God and adoption on my channel. KZbin algorithm and the world, is not super interested in either of those topics, sadly. I document our family's journey--most specifically our adoption journeys-in hopes, that it encourages others to adopt, as well. Which it has. Yes, I do earn a VERY SMALL income from KZbin, but make no mistake. I don't share on this platform for money or views.
