@The Felts Family Ashley, I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU! I'll be honest, I have been struggling, A LOT and just really going through a lot. SADLY (haha) YT is somewhat of an escape mentally for me. As we all know, So much has been going on in the world, my feed is eaten up with things NOT helping my anxiety and panic attacks. I find myself crying a lot these days... I try to hide it, especially from my babies, they worry, that too is getting harder to do. That said, I'm sitting here at 5:07AM , my family is all asleep, even the dog and I am SO tired but I can't get my mind to slow down much less rest. My head hurts! So, I debate w myself what to do, pray for a few minutes and decide sitting, staring at the walls just doesn't sound like fun or relief, so I open YT and find you and this vlog. For the first time, WITHOUT intent, I felt myself smile. It almost shocked me. It certainly caught my attention. I actually smiled! So, from my heart to yours, THANK YOU! God used you early this morning to put a smile on my face that wasn't forced. I appreciate you so very much, Ashley! You spent $1100 . If you consider 100 for the b’day gift for Emerson and abt $100 for formula and then a few stocking fillers for about $50 . So then the bulk of the haul is about $850 which is good shopping as you’ve bought a lot of food including snacks! I wonder what the people who criticise you eat! lol! . You feed your family well and that’s great! 💖

Firstl time watching- I have to give the disclaimer in my grocery hauls- everything in moderation. People mind ya business- you people probably eat junk food in your closet! 😂 We homeschool and my husband is a disabled vet home full time right now- so feeding 7 people 3 square meals.😅 Thanks for sharing!!

For everyone you’re feeding and as much as you bought for two weeks I think you did great!! It is hard trying to pay bills and buy groceries for two weeks at a time plus gas money and extra things the kids may need. Hey first off I think you are doing a great job and that clearly shows through your happy and healthy children! Just a thought for Isabelle, take it or leave it Im just throwing it out there , rolled oats or barley flakes are much higher in fiber than the traditional baby rice cereal or even baby oatmeal. Throwing rolled oats or barley flakes in a jar with water the night before and letting it soak in the fridge overnight and then blending it the moring to add to her bottles throughout the day could add a lot of fiber to her diet. I know its a lot more work but I thought I would throw the idea out there just in case you were interested. Have a great day!

Hi Ashley! Definitely show some recipe videos. I get great quick ideas from you. Especially the crock pot recipes. As for our family, we spend roughly $400-$500 every month on groceries, sometimes more, & we’re only 4. 😬 Everything is so expensive! 😩 Off that subject, I hope Emerson has a very happy birthday & she enjoys her party & gifts! 🎉 🎂 🎁

I love these kind of videos. It honestly helps me think of new meal ideas. You have a good balance. We spend 700 every 2 weeks on groceries, household items and eating out. Could we spend less yes. We are like y’all and live within our means and we don’t do debt other than our home and a small car note.

I love this family ❤❤❤ I dont know what is normal in the US. In Germany it is "in" to buy a lot of fresh Bio food. I have around 150 Euro a Month for food grocery. Your family is big, healthy and happy so you feed them good❤ I think some of the people writing bad comments here are yellous. I think your grocery haul is right on the money (pardon the pun). You cater for a family with eclectic tastes and needs and everyone is happy. Thats the sign of a good mom and wife, go you!! Today I went to get a few things only. I spent ,£175.00 and that wasn't my main shop so the fact that you discipline yourself to getting everything for two weeks in one go is an amazing feat. I missed seeing your grocery hauls. We are a large family with 4 kids still at home. I’m trying to spend $400 every 2 weeks. My 2 older kids (20 and 17) work and purchase their own extra specialty foods or energy drinks they like.

LOVE your videos Ashley. Food prices here in Australia are absolutely nuts as well. We only have Costco and normal supermarkets. I so wish we had Sam's club and Walmart! The variety you get to have in the shops is so interesting to me. I love your balanced shopping haul and what your feeding your family good on you!! Would love to see some of the recipes you are making on your channel. I adapted a couple of your other crock pot recipes that you filmed a while ago and my family loves them when I make them. OMG!! People would die if they saw a shopping haul from me. What a family eats to some degree is dictated by the tastes of its members & what meat's left in the freezer. Very few of us don't buy processed foods or eat processed foods because if you want to be pedantic, picking a apple or digging up a potato is processing (and I've been known to argue that point). Suggest buying extra of any special needs foods like formula as a back up for the winter months. You didn't buy to much fun foods. Your negative commenters just seem to forget it's up to the parents to make the rules on how much and how often the children can have the fun foods.

I spend about $800 a month on groceries for me and my husband. I do Walmart delivery so when I’m doing my online shopping it’s just so easy to add new and random items to my cart😩

Have you thought of putting a filter on your kitchen faucet? I change the filter out twice a year and it is an easy task. Then you could stop buying water.

Hi Ashley is Sams like Costco? Even here in Ireland food has got expensive, it seems worldwide food is getting more expensive. We are a family of four, my grocery bill would generally be 200-300 euros around 400 to 600 dollars. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. God bless from Ireland.❤❤

I’m from Texas and was raised on meat, potatoes and whole milk. We’re in Michigan and we purchase 1/4 cow from a local farmer. It lasts the two of us a year. Hubby hopefully gets a deer tomorrow to add to the venison freezer. I used to feed the six of us for $50 a week in the ‘90’s.

It is expensive! We do eat fruits and veggies. Mainly bananas, strawberries, and grapes. Sometimes apples. Veggies- I usually have several crockpot recipes that have veggies in them . We def should eat more tho!

For European people it is strange to see you getting groceries for two weeks at once 😮 is this how everyone does it in the USA or is it just your family? And is this actually everything or do you buy fresh fruit and vegetables, Bread meat etc somewhere else? Is that not available in the usa? Just curious it seems so different then grocerieshopping in the Netherlands. I really like to see these kinds of video’s and also the cooking. It is very interesting to see how things are done in your country

I know many families who shop weekly, but shopping every two weeks works great for us and I have done it for 25 years that way. No mam, I bought bread, fruit and meat at those two stores as well. This shopping trip, I did not have to buy as much meat as normal because I had some left over in my freezer. ;)

For our family, we live on 12 acrTX. have our own chickens and garden we grow some things, so we usually have a seasonal fill in. A pattern here I think is common is big box stores such as Costco or Sam's every other week. Then a smaller trip to a smaller store the other week. So, it's still a once a week stop. Personally I have 5, 4 stops I have to navigate to get to a store besides Target. It can take up to 30 min to get to anything and forget traveling fron 2pm to 7 pm. The 30 min becomes an hour. This limits our trips. We are out on the edge of Houston Tx.
