Ken was the 1st ending I saw on SF 2 back in 1991! The guy whipped Bison's ass with a perfect and I was SHOCKED! I was only 7yrs old and I will never forget the lady running out to him and then they show him getting married. Ken and Eliza... it always take me back to that moment, I lowkey get emotional lol

Ken's parents are a bit strange and confusing for Ken's heritage. Ken is somehow american while his backstory he is an american of japanese descent. His mom in the sf2 film is japanese and his dad american and makes him half japanese american. Then gamefaq discusses about ken's ethnicity and nationality being proof he is full japanese adopted by american family. It so so confused to confirm ken's bio, profile and character status and backstories.

From my reading Gamepro many years ago when SF2 debuted on SNES, He's actually allegedly was supposed to be 1/4 American, 3/4 Japanese. His mother was supposedly 1/2 Japanese, 1/2 American.

As Bruce was sharing the Jeet kune do to non Chinese. In movies together. Inspired Joe to pursue and champion the furthering of full contact training and competition. Heard Joe's interviews and stories. He is one of the smartest martial artist and men I have heard. One of the greatest ever, glad to hear him mentioned. This sent me over the moon to learn he was the inspiration for one of my favorite video game characters all time, Ken. Makes perfect sense, tight fit. I could hear the Ken music as I watched his clip. Martial arts, made for battle when we are divided, brings us all together in competition and respect during peace. Crosses all boundaries of race, culture, and physical gifts. Bruce and Joe exemplifies this meaning. Like a real Ryu and Ken combo. Peace and power.

She mentioned twice in game Ken defeated Ryu. Once when he gave him the headband and again when they first fight in SFV. Ken has many wins against Ryu, but Capcom doesn't over imbelish because they don't want Ken to be overpowered. They just want to promote that Ken balances his business, family and his training and still can keep up with Ryu. Akuma tells Ken that his divided devotions make him weak. Of course Akuma seeks a practitioner who is an absolute threat to his power.
