I agree with what she was implying about the reason, infact the general reason why very young Filipinas date and marry old men. It is to alleviate their poor living conditions. But there are few and it likely include Pea who aren't really poor but are fine dating older men for the reason that they are accomplished, and mature. But most women including the westerners look for the financially secure men to settle down with. This is universal.

There are plenty of educated men who are not afraid of a woman being his equal, or even above him (as far as career or financial independence goes). As long as you treat each other equally, it creates a much better chance of long, lasting respect. Love your videos, and it's really cool to see your perspective! Re: The Big O: One of the things that attracted me to my future wife is how LOUD she was and how much she shook when we made love. The first time it happened I worried that I had hurt her. It took me a few years to get used to her reaction. Does it happen with true love, is it a matter of technique, or could it be something physiological... Who knows! Great to see Glenda again. I love her sense of humor. Always ask for a cenomar. Yes, I'm old and yes, I'll die soon. Recently found out I have stage three renal failure, with a life expectancy of 6 years. Kinda strange to realize that you know what they will put on your death certificate. I made my peace with God when I was in my 20's. The lifestyle I was living made me wonder if I would make it to 30. I'm 67, with multiple medical issues ( severe rheumatoid arthritis, severe osteoporosis, blood pressure and erectile dysfunction ) and my wife still stands with me. Glenda made a real good point that quite a few westerners find poor Filipina girls with little education or experience in the outside world with little to no English skills and then wonder why they don’t relate well. I avoided that pittfall by pursuing a college educated Filipina. On a side note you might find funny. When I first married my Filipina her first job paid little more than minimum wage. I told her then with focus, ambition and hard work she would make a very nice salary in time but I also warned her that the day she started earning more than I did I was going to retire and let her support me Well that almost happened this year. After we did our taxes her net income after taxes and deductions was higher than mine (only because I’m investing more of my salary on retirement.) so I was all excited. Whoopee, I can retire soon. Unfortunately I got a promotion and a raise at work. Ah well the best laid plans of Mice and Men. On the big O. I’ve obviously heard and read about women not being able to have the big O but I have never experienced that myself and I had a lengthy bachelorhood. I can also tell a woman who is trying to fake one a mile off which just only motivated me to find her secret spot and always with success. But I was thinking if a woman can’t have a big O maybe it’s not her. I met my Filipina wife 7 yrs ago. She flew in from Singapore and me from NY. We went to her parents house in order that they could meet me. Which I'm glad we did. I was able to spend time with her while family and her dad. He passed four months after I met him. We are both old school and wanted to show our respect for each other and her family. We are married now.

Spot on about the emotionality. A few decades ago, I met a really beautiful Filipina through my best friend's fiancée (also a Filipina) when I was 30 and working in New York as a lawyer. She was mid-20's and worked for Hong Kong Airlines. The first couple of months of the relationship were great, but each time we would have an argument/disagreement about anything, even the smallest things, she would seemingly check her "reasoning powers" at the door. In the end I could only conclude that she was childish and immature, just not for me. However, over time I've come to understand the cultural basis for this as my friend's wife was very similar. Luckily for my friend he and his wife were able to overcome a few rocky patches very early on (due to her immaturity) and have now been married happily for almost 33 years ... and I still sometimes think back to the beautiful girl that maybe I should have been more patient with. Great job as always Pea!

I cannot stress to you the importance of getting out there & really living the life. Especially with your significant other. Don't just live it up in fine Hotels. Get an Airbnb - (house or apt) for a month & live the home life! You might find you don't like the long queues, the rolling blackouts, traveling by trike, tram, or jeepney. Work on your Tagalog & don't just leave it up to your spouse to speak 😂 Cause guaranteed the whole family don't speak English. By all means don't rush it! My girl & I been at it for years. At the end of your trips you might find yourself looking for a home in Philippines or finding out it's not for you. Good luck 👍🏾

As a western man it is not difficult to outcompete your average filipino 'in the sack'. Just care about her pleasure. Make sure that you verbally communicate and don't push her into anything she may be uncomfortable with. Just put an idea in her head, have some patience and allow her to explore and open up to the idea on her own terms. Filipino culture is strong and effective on monogamy to make families healthy and strong. But as a consequence they seem to forget that mutually nice bedroom activity is also important.

In my experience, Filipinos aren't speaking Bisaya and ignoring that you don't understand... they speak Bisaya because they feel very uncomfortable speaking English. This is why it really helps to understand their language. My wife taught me quite a bit. If you are in the Dumaguete area, you have a tutor available in Miss Glenda! The reason more single Western women don't move to the Philippines is because they want a man to take care of them, just like other women. And they don't think Filipino men can make the money to take care of them. Then there are some that make a good living, and don't want to jeopardize that by moving to a new country. I don't know if it's Filipinas or women in general, but many women need a man to take his time and put in the effort to give a woman the big O. Not every man has the patience or desire to take that time. Until my wife was with a foreigner, she said she never had one. She also never engaged in self gratification, so she never learned what she liked and didn't and what works and does not work. I really feel that is very sad.

I love my pets unconditionally. My pets never cheat on me, betray my trust or divorce grape me and take half my stuff in cash and prizes. While women in the Philippines are more family oriented and traditional, they are still women. I believe they are hands down 100% better than Western women, but they are still women. They are still subject to their biology and that includes misandry and the never ending search for the BBD.

I’m learning Filipino I’m well accepted by the family and they are very loving as I love them all . Wilma and I have a great relationship it so good it’s gets better all the time !!! Back hundreds of years ago women worked hard to take care of the family. I am sure they went to the market, got water, made clothes etc....... Women now are becoming spoiled if you ask me. I want one that will help with the finances. I want her to be an adult and not expecting too much. I don't want a kid but a woman. That is my take after a divorce. @@lifeonamarble961 well that is your prerogative, i do not forbid my wife to work but in our case it is totally unnecessary. So I rather see her in a position in which she contributes to our relation in another way, that is more useful. The household is totally her terrain, she keeps the house tidy, does the laundry etc. In the morning i find fresh clothes laid out for me. When i come home on a hot day (that's every day) first thing she does is to get me a cold drink and food. All in all she does a lot of work, in a way that is much more useful to our relationship than getting a job. Sure, very traditional but that is how we both like it. I offer security in terms of food on the table. A roof over her head, bills always paid, which gives her enormous inner peace and she makes my life pleasant in a way i just described. I am not sure if we all are 'conditioned' to think that way as you described, but traditional roles have worked for centuries. That you prefer your wife to contribute to the finances is fine, but one could also say that it is a pity that a man by himself cannot cannot provide enough for his family anymore. ( i can say a lot more about the macroeconomics of women working but will keep that for some other time). My wife is not a kept princess, she works hard and contributes a lot, albeit not financial. I on the other hand provide an income, do the heavy work and the dangerous work. If after a storm something needs fixing on the roof, i climb on it, not her, if something heavy needs to be carried, i am doing that not her. I make her life happier by providing for the things that are important to her, she makes my life happier by providing the things that are important to me. Works great for us. I never have the feelings that i am just the ATM. Couldnt be happier.

One thing I love about my filipina girlfriend is shes very understanding even though early in our relationship is was challenging but her English was better then most. She is a Young single mother, she 20 and im 22, so she's has that matured mind. Long distance relationships is hard with a single love but definitely we're unconditionally in love despite our distance . Next year is marriage. Lol but one thing is our distance actually brought us closer and been through a lot. But she's amazing and loyal and supportive like most filipinas and shes a province women 😅 so shes perfect for me. As far as the big 'O' conversation (hope I'm not going to get busted, for speaking on this), in my own relationship, there is one particular time, that I will never live up to. I know, without any question, that was a time for her (not to say that there weren't anymore moments), we both can remember this moment very vividly, and it was a very special moment for us. I am one who wants to enjoy my partner, but honestly wants her to have more enjoyment than me. I can never understand those, who engage their partners selfishly. Of course one has to initiate, but intimacy is something that is shared.

Its a two way street. The man can learn the language of the woman also. I learned mandarin for my girlfriend so we could talk in three languages, german ,mandarin and english. Imagine how bad an argument can be when you get insulated in 3 different languages😂

Yeah i think you cannot truly love somebody if you are not able to communicate properly, so if you want to date a girl or a guy from a different part of the world it's essential to learn their language right from the start. Cause otherwise you only talk english, and that gets pretty tiring fairly quickly for both of you if english is not your native tongue. My girlfriend and i have been together for 9 years now and have two kids who are raised trilingual. It's a big advantage if you take the time and effort to learn something for your loved ones.

Foreigners do not know what they are missing in older Filipina's. My Asawa is older than myself and it works because we have allot in common even though she came from a culture on the other side of the world. Courtship in the Philippines is so different now then it was in her time, young men don't sing out front of the girls home and getting the parents approval to date their daughter is not even a thing anymore, by the time they find out she's pregnant with child. To many foreigners that just want to be butterflies in the Philippines an educated, mature, independent woman like Ms. Glenda would scare them but someone that's looking for true happiness she would be a great person to spend their life with.

Reciprocation is rare in the philippines and western men are well trained by western women to make them happy. So when they get to the philippines they can make a Filipina very happy if they are willing to participate in this form of love making. Having an open minded partner can go along way in solidifying a relationship and obviously will keep both parties monogamous if both are happy. If a woman is to headucated then a man may be concerned about their body count and that goes the Same for men who are into rude sexual practices. Finding a balance and having communication that is between a man and women lays down the boundaries of the relationship which can put certain things on or off the table in the relationship. No means no unless it means maybe but remember that if a woman thinks you like something she may not be comfortable with she will always wonder if you will leave her for a woman who is ok with it .

In the early 80's, All the women who worked in the bars had to have a health card and they had to have a check up on a regular basis. They also had a price Matrix, it was either "short time or long time". A woman who worked at a bar had to have her ID on her at all times along with a pass from the bar she worked at. So, if you wanted to go with a woman who worked at a bar, all the planning had to be done inside the bar, if you approached a woman or the woman approached you on the street, then both of you would be arrested for prostitution.

Unconditional love happens with time, and true love situations. Once more than the couple itself, but everyone sees the two as one, it will be very difficult, to step away from something like that. This is a 'whole' love aspect, that will be treasured, and cannot be replaced.

I agree with Stan. I'm an older guy (69) and would much prefer to be with someone like Glenda over someone young enough to be my granddaughter. Even 40 is too young for me. Glenda, you are a delight. You're pretty, graceful, funny and intelligent. When I think about being in a relationship, having intelligent conversation is a must for me. Sorry to hear it was later in life before you discovered " the big O". Don't Filipino men care about their women's sexual wants and needs ? I don't get that. A lot of tough topics. Great video. The dating older men and getting married to older men is not always because of true love. Many younger girls in the U.S hook up with older men knowing soon they will die and have the hopes of collecting their money. A man getting 4500 a month gets married to a 19 year old girl and not long after dies then that girl he married now collects his 4500 a month .That happens a lot. Say a man that is collecting disability of 3500 a month and has sex with a girl then she has his baby that child gets a part of the mans money and when the man dies well that child gets all of the mans money every month. Now think if the man gets married to a 19 year old and has a child with her now she will collect his money every month and the child will also collect every month. So with that said if a Man from the U.S. meets a girl in the Philippines and this happens she too will collect his money. Not many people in the Philippines make 4000 a month That is like 200,000 Peso's a month.

I believe the only unconditional love is between family. Father/mother and daughter/son can be very powerful bonds that in certain cases, nothing can break. If you believe you have a romantic relationship that is unconditional, you just haven’t seen the condition yet. The person who has great love for you has the potential to have great hate for you. If you believe you can still love a person who has cheated on you, stole your children, put you in poverty with child support and alimony, spread lies to their family about you, got you fired from your job, and then started a new family.
