After my divorce 6 years ago I was determined to never put myself in a vulnerable position again. My patients became so short in dealing with people's BS that I would just leave them in a heart beat. Eventually I met a Philippine woman that showed me through her patients, caring, and genuine heart, that trying to love again would is worth it. That I owed it to myself. I then though, just because I went through a divorce doesn't sentence me to a life time of being alone for the rest of my days. I've grown to love this woman dearly and we are set to be married later this year. She is everything that I desire in a mate. From my experience, most Philippine women just want to be loved and appreciated. I know and feel deep in my heart that she is well worth pouring all my love into. Just my experience....

I've been married to a Filipina for 7 years after dating for 2 years. I traveled to the Philippines 2 months after we met online. I am bald and yet she insisted I shave the remaining hair in the top of my head. And don't ever shave my hairy chest! I continually joke around and use sarcasm most of the time. Sometimes she says, "I'm trying to be serious!" Whereas I joke, "If you wanted a serious relationship, this isn't it!" I am overweight, I have 3 kids, there is a sizeable age gap, and she is not my first wife. She's never been married and has a son who is here as well.. But when she comes home from work, even after a bad day, she sees me, and with a great big smile, runs to me and we kiss passionately. I know people talk behind our backs accusing her of being a golddigger. But, in fact, she is the main source of income. I took early retirement after losing my job during the pandemic. So, I am the golddigger! Loved your date with Jerry!!!

So Filippino women will find me less attractive bc I work out (and yes, I would continue to there, aven if it meant filling up 75 kilo barrels of sand, attaching them to a pipe and doing various presses and lifts along with swimming, jogging and walking)? Now I'm not as jacked as I look in that picture, but it's still obvious I work out. I'm not even considered _"swole"_ where I live so I'd definitely be a bit disappointed if 99% of the women I was interested in weren't really into me because I'd like to stay as healthy and agile as possible as long as possible. I'm still debating between the Philippines, Thailand and Columbia. The Philippines was at the top ever since Starlink became available (its not fiber, but hey, anything over 100Mbps is more than serviceable and I wouldn't be moving there to play competitive shooters all day). *sigh* This definitely gives me a bit more to think about. Funny bc in Columbia they seems to love guys who are a heck of a lot bigger than I could ever get, at least without some extra pharmaceutical help.

Call me a prude, but "Genital Adornment" is just plain odd and disgusting....😖 I remember my first date with my former Filipina girlfriend, Tala, back in the mid 90's. She worked at the Navy Exchange on base, I asked her out to dinner and a nice walk down near the water front, and she agreed (I was so excited, I almost forgot to shower before leaving the barracks). She showed up, with a friend in tow (another girl that worked at the commissary), and we all went to diner at a little restaurant/bar just off base. We had a good time (I thought), and as the evening wound down her friend suddenly announced she had to go. I walked Tala along the waterfront, then walked her back to her apartment which she shared with a couple of other girls (all of which worked on base; talk about the ultimate Filipina spy operation!). A sweet kiss on the cheek and a squeeze of my hand (she'd been holding it since we left the restaurant) and she was gone and I was on cloud 9. The next date we went to the movies, and she was a real snuggle monster when the lights went down. Later that evening I walked her home and she invited me in. Her roommates were gone, and she got REALLY frisky. We never did anything too overly sexual while dating (just kissing, petting, and a bit more), and she was always very prim and proper out in public (and doubly so when we visited her parents). Basically, the perfect girlfriend! Great video, Miss Pea! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thank you Pea, that's very useful. I will need to watch again and make notes before my visit (Covid permitting)in December, One thing was really enlightening - your definition of the word strict, as understood by Filipinas. Just a few days ago a Filipina friend explained that she didn't think it would work out between us (she had already openly moved on to another man, but still chatting with me as friends) because she thought I was too strict. I found that puzzling since we haven't even met yet, but with your definition it now makes sense. Another word that puzzled me for a moment was the word cursing. In the UK we would say swearing, never cursing, for the f***, c***, or s*** words. Cursing has a different meaning. There are quite a few differences in meaning between American English and British English, but I hadn't come across that one before.

I come here for the fascinating look into what makes Filipinos tick--delivered by an extremely intelligent, riotously funny, charming, engaging, and drop-dead gorgeous young woman--but I stay for the double entendre dick jokes. 😁 If this KZbin thing doesn't work out, you could give stand-up comedy a try! Think about it: a cute Filipina delivering edgy one-liners and zingers...but wouldn't say 'shit' if her mouth was full of it. You'd be a star! 🤩🤩🤩 Subscribed.

In your show about dating single Moms, you said that the child’s birth father could make things very difficult for everyone. Pea, you mention in the show that the new boyfriend should learn everything about the birth father and even find out about what kind of relationship the mother had with this person. In this show you say that you should never bring up the mothers past relationships and that the mother will pretend that she has no history or past relationships even while she is holding a child under each arm. So my question is, do you bring up her past relationship or not?
@TheFilipinaPea3 жыл бұрын
I had previously said that a Filipina doesn’t want you to bring up her past (if you want to play by her rules), but that you MUST bring up her past, and convince her to talk about it. I’d never get into a relationship with a person without knowing everything about their past 👍👍👍 She won’t like it, but too bad 😂

I have several Filipina friends from the Visayan region, mostly Cebu and Mindanao here in California. The women from there LOVE dancing, are very attracted to men that are good dancers and expect the man to lead the dance movements. I'm having to take dance lessons just to keep up with them. They also seem to have quite a machismo culture. The people from there also speak with a louder voice. Are these traits common mostly in the Visayas or other regions as well?
@MarcPiery3 жыл бұрын
Odd. All of the Visayan girls and women I knew were the quietist filipinas. They also had an air of elegance and old world European charm, compared with other filipinas. Their movements were measured and graceful, as a girl who was a graduate of charm school. They, besides being relatively quiet, were far less likely to lose their temper. It’s as if they were a combination of the best of Asian and European behavioral traits. Because of that, I tended to be partial towards Visayan girls and women. And I knew many. I worked my way through university at a very large Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center that employed many thousands of filipina nurses.

Would love to find someone like that. Where are they?? Several of the ones I've found here in California seem quite materialistic. They also are obsessed with their looks, have facial injections done. Maybe they get that way when they come to the US. I make a good income too, but that's not the point. I want a relationship first before spending money on someone.

A very funny, well made and honest video. Now I know why I never visited the Philippines and probably never should. Who finds who or what attractive is always personal preference of course. I personally like some curves on a woman like hips and an ass but most pinay, from the boobs down, look the same as pinoy. Even their feet are often as big. But again that's personal preference. But I know for a fact that a 60 year old, bald, fat dude, full of tattoos and with an uncut penis can easily score an 18 year old girl there as long as he pays the bills. If he promises to take her out of the country she will even marry him. That's how I value a country and it's people. Do they want to stay or do they want to get out. I am curious about the nature though. But this is my honest opinion.

Hello Pea, Thank you very much for all of your informative videos. If you don’t mind I would like a very blunt & honest answer to the following question. “How do Filipino women feel about men with a physical disability?” When I was 2 I was hit by a truck and it caused permanent disability of my left arm. It will never work or be able to be repaired. Add this to being 60 and I think my odds of finding a loving Filipino woman are close to zero. I would really appreciate your non sugar coated opinion. Thank you and keep up the great videos.
@TheFilipinaPea10 ай бұрын
My non sugar-coated opinion? Filipinas are not only some of the least physically judgmental women on the planet when it comes to physical disabilities, but we’re also natural born caregivers, making up a huge percentage of nurses worldwide. I can almost guarantee that if you have a good personality and loving heart, it will be appreciated here 👍

Sadly, I have no hair on top. I also carry a few extra pounds, but am not visually obviously overweight. Also, I have a pure white beard. So, clearly, I would not be very attractive to Filipinas. But, I am also 80 years of age, and have found a lovely 73 years young Filipina who dotes on me. We have been together for three years, and I am really happy that she is so tiny, I don’t think she has ever gotten a clear view of my bald head. Thanks for all you do, Pea. Every time I mention your name, my love cringes. However, you have pegged her so accurately, so often, she has grown to respect your cultural knowledge. She grew up in the provinces very poor Philippine style, so now she appreciates EVERYTHING.

It would be nice if you did a video on skin color. I have noticed in the Philippine entertainment industry a definite preference for lighter skin--the "mestiza" look. Most Filipinos in show business do not look anything like Filipinos you see walking down the street. While I have never experienced any prejudice or negative attitudes from my in-laws (I'm African-American), the preference for light-skinned singers and actors in Filipino culture is very obvious.
