The irony that you just made this video as I'm looking on how to replace the ui board only having this dishwasher for over a year and just now finding out this is the number 1 issue with GE

I’m so disappointed in these appliances. It’s just my wife and I so we don’t even make that many dirty dishes and this thing still only lasted like 2 years. Total junk.

GE Dishwashers suck. Enough said. Thanks for this video and info. While dropping my main control board for testing, mine started working again. Apparently my issue is either a connector to the main control board or a wiring harness issue. The only thing that worked was to leave the control board somewhat lose so there was no pressure on the connector wires. Sigh... :(

After watching this video and cost of the parts I decided to just replace mine with another brand dishwasher should it fail.
