Neil.... I must say that was one fantastic looking burrito. But what really impressed me the most was the biscuits, that is one of the things I miss most since my wife passing. She used to make biscuits for me all the time. We used to have a dog that he loved her biscuits too and I would get him all wound up barking at her while I would be saying we want some biscuits. Finally she would give in and make a batch. I'm guessing shes making them for her Dad and sister in Heaven and the dog too.

Binge watching your incredible videos. Just bought a house and moving from the apartment where even a BBQ is not allowed. The house however has a covered deck and after I move the 1st thing I'm buying for the house is a Blackstone! I'll season it the way you taught me and get used to heat points. Sure to burn the first couple meals but I can learn to do it! I'm honestly excited for my first cook on one! I'm convinced that a grill needs to be my next big purchase! Thank you and Peace!

Man thats awesome...congratulations...so a quick tip...just avoid the first big meal to settle down a hair...i understand the stress..instead....cook on low...learn temps and cook something like onions...or squash and zucchini...the reason is typically they are cheaper...and you can add quite a bit...by doing that you are adding oil to the griddle and sliding things around and around...it will help spread oil and you will get used to the motion...how to move food on and off etc...you can even try to flip by quickly sliding the spatula underneath etc....alot can be learned in the first cook...cheeers

The reason you add the flour to the sausage is to essentially coat the oily part and cook a little to make a nice roux. Milk and oil won't mix, but if you've added enough flour to properly coat the sausage/fat then you can incorporate the milk. If there is too much flour it's library paste. Not hard to get right but I find the gravy is much more homogeneous when there is a bit more flour/less grease than what you had. I'm always amazed how much milk it takes since it thickens up as you mentioned. Regardless, breakfast burritos are amazing and so easy with all that flattop worksurface. Biscuits on point too by the way. Nice layers.

I have to comment on this one because I buy those Jimmy Dean breakfast burritos which are ok for a quick breakfast. But if you are going to do it right then this is one for the breakfast section of the cookbook. What I love about it is that it is so easy to do it as is or tweak it to your liking, or in this case loving it. Some awesome tips in this video too. Also love the shirt "I'd Smash This" which got me to thinking about something my wife asked about. (Smash Tacos). Great Job!

Somewhat off topic... but still connected to breakfast and your Navy experience. Back in the 60's when I was a Navy guy, there was a take on S O S that was a red sauce and ground beef vs the chipped beef and gravy. Did your galley ever make this as well? How about a video of your take on that??? By the way, your video's have become my major training tool for my griddle experience. You do a wonderful job of providing guidance in a very exciting and informative.. Thanks to you both for helping those of us who "need" a lot.
