Note: FS 2017 is not a new game. With this title I mean a combination of effects, addons and other things (added to Prepar3D v3.4) that make this video seem more real. P3D v3.4 is a new Flight Simulator released late 2016.

+Mr. Giordano Those arrows are for the pilot. sometimes they land on taxiways so they put arrows. but yes you can land on those to. but if you overshoot the 2 squares ON the runway, you could overshoot.

I flew a KLM Boeing 747-400 in FSX! Difference is, it was a freeware model.

I feel famous I was in Amsterdam schipol five days ago and I was doing spotting in that zone and saw the same planes same zone except there was a Delta instead of a KLM 737

I wish these sim would add a financial element to the game to give you a goal to fly other than the scenery and other festures. Maybe a passenger delivery or cargo economic model as a side game or part of the main feature. but I know that's not the target audience for these type simulators

Fantastic realism! The ramp stuff has some inaccuracies, such as the K-loader operator raising the elevator all the way up then opening the cargo door. Won't work. But I'm being pedantic.

"Ultra Realism", one thing that's not realistic at all is your landing. There is no logical way a fully loaded 744 could have come to a complete stop after missing the touchdown zone, by a lot. Nice graphics though, I'll give you that!

Victor Olin for its size, the 747 is pretty quick to stop - and it wasn't fully loaded, planes usually land with the tanks 90% empty.

PMDG manuals are the most extensive out there. The 737 manuals are almost identical to the real life ones. I asume the 747 ones are as precise as those. I invite you to read the section called Normal procedures in the FCOM manual (NP). Clearly you didn't read it well. Give some detailed reading on managing the auto flight, your MCP management was not correct. The landing was already addressed by others, it was a go around since you were not stable at 500ft AGL. I have to say, your video edition is quite nice.
