Indeed You can check out the Epic Mahabharata Many warriors in it were proficient in Gada battles Bhima, dhuryodhana, jarasandha etc They are like Achillies and Herculies Said to possess the strength of a 1000 elephants Or you can watch bahubali movie to see it in action The villain uses a Chain Gada as his go to weapon

You are right. In ancient India warriors used gada for combat. Mahabharata an ancient Indian epic mentions kurukshetra war were many powerful warriors used huge maces to crush bones and armor od enemies

As a regular gym goer, I am totally digging these Mace swings!!! When I was young, I used to go to local akhara with my dad and used to swing mudgars, I am thinking to start again! Those are very pretty. Really just starting out my mace journey. The length of the lever amplifies any mass at the end. Starting very light to let my tendons and mobility adjust. If the Great Gada is alleged to have used 80 lbs, 100 kgs seems a bit in the super human range for swinging.

**Sigh** No matter how much I want it(and the iron macebell), I can't buy it. Firstly there's an issue of space. Even if that gets solved, my dad will NOT agree to spend HIS money for all this. The gada (more specifically, the money for it) has to be earned by me. Hopefully Yuvraj will be in business for a long time as I'll be able to buy the gada only with MY OWN money. 15 days and I'll be a young lad of 16. 5-6 years later I'll be earning. So at least 8 years I have to wait if I want this thing. Might as well close KZbin and start studying. Damn.

Hey Jay, I remember my dad not being fond of me training and eating in a particular way when I was your age. I would rather have followed my gut at that time. I have made a video called 'how to make a gada' and this described how to make a gada on your own for about 200 rupees. All it takes is a little time. You'll be able to start practicing and before you know it you'll have enough money. Good luck!
