Old money uses Dior Eau Sauvage and Guerlain Vetiver for casual and Aramis for fancy or winter weather. And the stuff they get gifted like Bleu De Chanel EDT or some Bvlgari gift set.

Finally another person who understands that old money just wears what their father wore, who wore what his father wore, and wore what his father wore, back to the one who was mentioned in the Domesday Book and was given a tract of land by William the Conquerer.

Some other fragrance that scream old money (at least to me): 1. Guerlain’s Mitsouko- an incredible amber tinted chypre that while marketed for women is 100% unisex and just screams “I am better than you 2. Guerlain’s Shalimar- same thing but instead of a chypre it is a leathery oriental fragrance that smells like a relationship that turned sour from a crime but then got fixed up and love has never been stronger 3. Hermes’ equipage- a cool slightly piercing aldehydic fragrance for men that smells like the utmost expression of aristocracy and dare I say vampiric immortality. 4.Hermes’ Caleche- supremely white, definitely feminine, but old enough to be an off-kilter choice for men. I highly rate this fragrance it just radiates elegance like nothing else I have some more but this is a KZbin comment and not a video so I’m not making it a 10. Have a nice day George and fam

My "Old Money Aesthetic" holy grail scent has always been Ralph Lauren Polo (Green). And it happens to be my #1 scent of all time (nearly 30p bottle collection). And the brand scored a direct hit with 1978's Polo. They knew what they wanted when they briefed Carlos Beniem. As the brand says: "...Its name awakens association with a closed circle of the chosen and this circle has its rules and traditions....". American Republicanism in a bottle. Perfect. Other iconic Old Money aesthetic scents I have: Creed Royal Oud. Basically any masculine slightly-austere woody scent: Dyptique Tam Dao, Houbigant Bois Mystique, etc. Creed Tabarome Millesime. Floris No. 89 and even the recently released No. 007, which is basically a modernized No. 89. Oxford by Roberto Ugolini, which was brought to my attention by a Gentleman's Gazette video about the Old Money aesthetic. High Desert by Boyd's of Texas.

We need more fragrances like Prada Amber. I just smell this old bathroom of a luxury house from the past. Shaving with a straight razor. Prada Amber still has this punch at the beginning, something extra that makes it more than just a soapy fragrance. Did you smell the intense version, George? Ombre Leather Parfum smells amazing, I do like its more wet violet approach then leather car seat of EdP. I don't find it redundant if you own EdP honestly. About NR Bleu Noir Parfum. I just don't get it. I love Dior Homme Original. I enjoy Bleu Noir EdP and Extreme. But this NR for me lacks a personality among other iris scents. Not a bad fragrance at all. Maybe I will warm up to it one day. Yeah, the longevity isn't great.

Very nice...generally not a fan of Zaharoff, but I'm gonna have to try the two you mentioned because they sound interesting and...well, why the flug not? As for the others mentioned...no real disagreement, except for Vanilla Flash and Memoirs of a Trespasser. Great scents...and I just remembered I used every drop of Vanilla Flash and have to order another bottle...but Vanilla Flash, to my is more of a fun scent with a brutally stellar vanilla and spices. I love Memoirs of a Trespasser, but I don't own a bottle simple because it's one of those scents I can only wear around the house and, sadly, I believe it may have triggered a headache or two. Anyway, here is what I said about Trespassers when I reviewed it 8 or more years ago (see whether you agree). "To me, Memoirs of a Trespasser smells like a musty, dusty, two hundred year old Oxford English Dictionary, stolen from the vestibule of a Basilian monastery, in which the pages were alternately exposed to the humidity of the outdoors and then baked in the intense sunlight radiating through a nearby etched glass window...for decades, and decades and decades. Atop this weathered two-stone book sat a thurible, broken chunks of raw incense, and a flask of stale communion wine that would occasionally leak onto the text and seep into its pages. Being the thieves were children, they hid this stolen book in their tree house. Occasionally, they would dust-off the cobwebs and peruse the pages inside with fingers laden with chocolate and marshmallow crème from their messy appetite for eating Boyer Mallo Cups. Trespasser evokes all the aforementioned images in my mind. Moreover, it is a complex scent that is certainly an out-of the-box composition. I rarely get headaches but, for whatever reason, I occasionally develop a headache shortly after applying this one....probably because I have my nose buried against my arm. Projection and Longevity are both solid on my skin. Surprisingly or not so surprisingly, I love Memoirs of a Trespasser...but this one is a definite try before you buy." Solid fragrance video. Cheers!

I ordered Amber Pour Homme but noted the notes have changed from all reviews I’ve seen on KZbin. There is no longer laudanum and saffron mentioned on the metal plate and instead lavender and geranium replace these two notes.
