I’ll watch this video tonight, fall into blissful sleep and learn nothing about the Cambrian explosion. I can’t even stay awake listening to this during the day. That’s how good The French Whisperer is.

I don’t usually fall asleep to spoken asmr, but having something calming yet interesting to listen to whilst I can’t sleep is so welcomed, much better than doomscrolling or something that’s not healthy for my mind. Thank you and goodnight!

Just want to say thank you. This has become my absolute go-to for falling asleep to. Nothing else even comes close. It's also given me some lovely dreams. You're amazing.

Second comment here: I have an ammonite fossil I wear 24/7 around my neck. I think it's really neat to be able to carry a piece of the past with me that's soooooooooooo much older than me ♡

Amazing! I rarely listen to male ASMRtists because I can't get triggers but man, you're the real deal, also the way you explain the subjects are awesome, this is some niche quality channel for sure

its a bit late now but you should do a video on Pearl Harbor. it has a very long and almost cinematic buildup, an absolutely tragic but very quick climax and then a long arduous aftermath that i think would make a great topic!

How am I supposed to relax when I keep hearing "GIANT SEA SCORPIONS" and realize they lived here only 250,000,000 years ago? That isn't long enough to be rid of giant sea scorpions.

Re: spread of agricultural practices to northern Europe, we do know. The domesticable grains such as barley, etc took time to adapt to shorter summers of northern Europe to survive. Similar barriers also true of both Americas and Africa. (Source: Pulitzer Prize winning Guns, Germs and Steel, modern classic.) Zero domesticable plants or animals in Australia. Every early civilisation had certain preconditions, including domesticable flora/fauna and great river basins (Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, India, parts of North/South America.)

Hello! I’ve recently found your channel and absolutely love the content! Information, interesting and relaxing! I do have one question, you mentioned that on all platforms other than KZbin there is an audio only episode on the Library Of Alexandria. What is that episode called on spotify? I can’t find it but it’s one of my favourite historic events to learn about! Thank you :)
