I think frost overvalues Runic Pyramid, its good, but when you already have a ton of draw in your deck, it doesn't outweigh stuff like energy relics

I think it depends on the player's style. I personally like aggregate butbhe dont like it. Frost is good at planninh ahead while I play reactively. He finishes ascension 20 and I cannot get past the final 2nd boss. But in the end the game was challenging and fun. 👌

i think he places the value on being able to save the cards you cant play now for later, so for example if you dont get to your echo form for 3 turns and still cant use it because you have to block. With pyramid hes then able to block and use his echo form on a better turn. instead of hoping he gets it on a better turn next shuffle. The energy can be really good but I think its not as insane compared to being able to confirm certain combos like echo form self repair. I see it more like mana being a crutch that can help you win the individual turns easier, while you can/could win the same fight with less mana and the same cards just by playing differently.

I cannot believe that luck right at the end. I don't think there was much better RNG on that Dead Branch possible (aside from, like, some sort of insane boot sequence loop I guess?). I think boot sequence into reboot was the only option that gave frost even a faint hope of winning, and it's not something any sane person would bet a run on, but the fact that it almost worked is kinda gross. Love the content!

Not too knowledgeable about the Defect, but I know focus is pretty poggie woggie. What's the purpose of not playing both of your Defrag+'s in some of these clips? 44:40 is one example, he did it once earlier as well. He left the energy unused at the end of the turn, so that's the big reason I'm confused. Don't see Ice cream either. Any help with me understand this? Love the vids

Regarding Runic Capacitor and having a harder time getting dark orbs off: THere's only 4 WAYS IN THE GAME TO GAIN orbslots, 2 of which are relics and one of which is a potion. It's easier filling those orb slots with the abundance of cards and relics which can do so for you, so it's probably a better pick to grab the orb slots, right?
