I'm sorry, I didn't realize that there was a difference between a 4 leaf clover and a shamrock. I apologize to anyone I have offended.

Oh, I didn't know that, either, I seriously thought a shamrock is just the same as that lucky clover with the four petals on ^^' Well they're both lucky symbols, aren't they? I'm sure nobody would think bad of them if you send them lucky clovers for a St. Paddy's Day greeting, the clover plants those shamrocks are inspired by come with four leaves from time to time, too, they're just not so regular, that's why they're supposed to be lucky symbols after all ;)

I like your idea with that sheet of uncolored flowers. I have unfinished coloring sheets that I could cut and re-purpose - if not on a card, than something else, like an atc. PS I got the atc idea because I am going to a class this weekend where I'll be making them.

Oh, I used to run an ATC group on Yahoo for a lot of years and then moved it to FB when Yahoo ruined their groups. I haven't done it in a few years now, I miss it.
@mayloo21372 жыл бұрын
@@aptwalker2009 I used to go to an atc swap group here in Calgary, Canada. After the pandemic started, they moved to Facebook. Since I am not on Facebook, I haven't been in contact since. I miss them too. It's not the same just making atcs without having more than a few people to trade with. PS I just signed up to get updates about atc swapping meets here. Hopefully with the pandemic mostly over, I can go to the meet-ups in person soon.

I honestly didn't think all those scraps and pieces would fit together, but I love the results❣those rainbow colours just pop off the page, the petal lions look so cute and I just love how the four-leaved lucky clover prints overlap 🥰 the black and white scraps really make for nice backdrops, your polka dot one kinda reminds me of some kimono fabric patterns, too - I just looked it up again, it's called Samekomon and it's supposed to look like shark skin :3 If the homepage I was on is right about the symbolism behind it, it's supposed to keep one safe from harm and evil , kinda fits with your card, too, I'd say ;)

Love the cards and another fun tip. Your swatches are so nicely done they look good on their own. Mine, not so much. I have started using my watercolour test swatches and paintings I was going to toss, for die cuts. Makes for some interesting elements for flowers, butterflies, birds, etc. and seems better than tossing them, especially if done on Arches paper!

I love you, but must correct one thing.... One stamp is a 4 leaf clover and the other one is a shamrock. A shamrock has 3 sections grouped together to make one leaf. St. Patrick used a Shamrock to teach about the Holy Spirit. Okay and that's that, I'm not going to go into the full explanation cause it's too religious.
@thefrugalcrafter2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, im eating a bit of crow today over that one and the fact I painted a 4 leaf clover on a bookmark on Instagram. I should probably steer clear of holidays from other countries (although my father's people came from Ireland) at least im not the only one to confuse a ☘ and 🍀. I truly am sorry. I hope I haven't offended anyone too deeply.
