This Is one of my favorite paintings you have done. Thankyou for showing how to do layers to make far away and bring close up. It needed just a bit of a path leading you back into the fairy land beyound... love l. Love it.

Why are we so awed with the tape removal? I do not know but it thrills me every time no matter how many times I've done it. Simple things can still amaze. Love this. A couple of times along the way I wasn't sure but in the end it turned out fabulous. Sometimes you're like a magician and the tape removal is the abracadabra moment!

Boy oh boy Lindsey, I can actualy smell the autumn in this picture. It takes me back to so many hikes in the woods when I used to love in WI. Early in the morning before the dew settled. You nailed it sweetheart. I'm gonna try this one. Thank you so much you made me home sick. They don't have those type of woods where I live now in NM. I'll stay tuned for your next masterpiece. @@thefrugalcrafter I like it with the overhead light because us always-make-a-terrible-mess-of-watercolourers can see how much water you had on the page and what the sheen on the paper should look like. You can't see properly with it off and the paper dull.

This is soooo beautiful! Wonderful Lindsay! It's just magical! That depth is really nice...It looks like you could step right into this painting! Awww....whirlygigs! That brought back sweet childhood memories. We used to play with them on our school playground...we had huge trees and gravel! Haha! Not like today's rubberized, child safe playgrounds! But we had fun! Throwing those seed pods up in the air and pretending they were helicopters! 😊💗 Thank you for this awesome tutorial!

The translucence of the watercolour really helps to make the tree trunks appear more rounded & I love the vibrant colour of the gouache. Yep, more please!

As a beginner, this is one I think I can do. This is the first tutorial on KZbin that has made me want to order gouache. Once I get some, this will be my first project! I only make card sized projects and this card is both colorful and serene. I love it!
