Loved this!! I don’t understand why influencers are always apologetic for a unboxing. We the general public do not get to see all the goodies you get to see, or perhaps the goodies that are sent to you to test, or perhaps the goodies that are sent to you just as a gift. Sorry to say I am not on that mailing list! And remember There are new people in the craft all the time ! If from time to time an algorithm gets massaged so be it, it is fun, beats watching the news! Everybody loves to see what’s new on the market! Are you going to make me take money out of my child’s mouth and spend an art materials? No I don’t think so. The unboxing is the icing on the cake, even a child knows too much icing can make you sick! We love window shopping!!😊

What people say and what they actually watch are two different things. My biggest annoyance is people complain, and yet they mostly watch these videos anyway. You can tell by the view counts "haul" videos do way better than tutorials.

I like unboxings, I despise "haul" videos. I like the ones that are gifts. Or if an artist has to replenish their supplies, and necessary things, with maybe a gift to themselves, but I despise promotions. Sorry, thats clear as mud. I usually pass them by, unless its something by an accomplished artist giving their serious and truthful evaluation and not just someone who is working for the company, trying to get more people to buy so they get a cut. Again I despise promotions. You did wonderful. And I always look for your take on products before I buy. You, an accomplished, excellent artist, with a heart for people, who really cares if we buy junk or good stuff and gives an honest opinion. Thank you! ❤

But they are very large sized and they are all lightfast colors! I have found them at St. Louis Art Supply and they even sold a sweet wood palette that held these “giant pans”. I did notice the last time I looked that some colors are back ordered. On with the show!

@@thefrugalcrafter cannot measure RN as I am in bed but they seem a bit smaller than the PR ones. Jackson’s sell them on their website too (though I didn’t get mine from them) so they may have measurements listed! Otherwise I can check tomorrow and update you. Oh, and they also seem to have introduced a slightly newer style of pan which sadly doesn’t have the brush rest. I liked the rest but I can see why they would want to get rid of it, since it’s the most breakable part. The new pans are just a teeeeny bit chonkier , but still fit in the brush box, if a bit less perfectly. I store them in the box with the long side of the pans against the long side of the box, which is how they fit despite being large
@gertietheduckАй бұрын
@@thefrugalcrafter the newer (ever so slightly) larger pans without the brush rest are approx 6x8x2cm. The Marie's box was advertised as 33x7x3.5cm but fits them perfectly internally. the height is the only dimension with excess and I just put some padding or a cloth (stops them rattling around, protects them and doubles as brush cleaner) underneath the pans when I carry them around in the box. From my experience I honestly think that some colors contain ox gall and some do not, that goes for every brand, or they all contain it just some colors have more of it than other colors ? What do you think?

I think whithin a line they either will or won't have it but they may put more or less in to keep a similar flow rate between colors.
