I have severe autoimmune issues. Because of a life threatening disease, I must take steroids daily. This medication suppresses my immune system, so I used to constantly get sick in the Fall. My husband is a teacher, so he brings home viruses, even though he is not sick because his system fights them off. I have seen a huge difference since I started using Oxiclean. I also do a lot of cleaning with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, so I am in shock that they are basically the same thing. I am ordering this product today! It is much cheaper, and since we make most of our own cleaning products, this will not be a problem to add to our cleaning regimen. YOU should have a million subs and your own TV show! Thank you so much for your videos!! PS I have also been taking some incredible supplements that have boosted my immune system as well. Feeling so much better these days! Although I must avoid crowds during Flu season.

Patti, I'm so happy you've been able to find so much to boost your health and improve the quality of your life!! As I understand, the SPC is often used as a shelf stable form of the hydrogen peroxide! It's nice to be able to mix up a "fresh batch" when you need it. I really hope this helps you, Patti! I wish you and yours good health, happiness and all things awesome. Blessings! 💕💪

Have you tried food grade diatomateous earth? I've been on it over a yr and it's really reduced the times I've gotten sick.
@Patti-19625 жыл бұрын
@Scorched Earth I'm so sorry to hear that. I have Addison's disease, plus a "laundry list" of other autoimmune diseases. Do you have to take steroids daily? Have you heard ot the website/blog called butyoudontlooksick.com and the "spoon theory?" The author also has Lupus.

If I were you, I would add drinking & spraying homemade colloidal silver & eating the food grade diatomaceous earth. I have autoimmune issues & I already do that. You can start by making colloidal silver with three 9 volt batteries & the silver rods which are not expensive to buy. Then buy a good Brewer to make collateral silver once you recognize its worth.

Great video! I've used sodium percarbonate/ Oxiclean for years, but still managed to pick up new tips from your video. My local beer brewing store in Northern California sells percarbonate for 5 lbs for $14. I used to buy Oxiclean brand from Costco when it went on sale for under $20 for 11.6 lbs. Unfortunately, Oxiclean also contains alcohol ethoxylates, which are effective cleaning agents, but can be contaminated with carcinogens. (Examples of ethoxylated products include alcohol ethoxylates, PPG, PEG, polysorbate and ingredients that end in -eth such as laureth, steareth, ceteareth, most famously sodium laureth sulfate.) Because of skin irritation I've switch to using straight hydrogen peroxide 3% in the laundry instead of percarbonate, and save the percarbonate for serious stains.

Wow. I used to use oxi clean when I worked as a photo lab tech at a pharmacy because it was the only laundry booster that could get the stains out of my lab coats (and I was expected to have pristine lab coats to make a good impression on the customers). Just a scoop of that and it even removed old stains. I really need to buy some again and start using it around the house. Thanks for this great video.

For at least a year now I’ve been using one part OxiClean to one part washing soda (not baking soda) to wash my clothes. I make up a batch in a large plastic container and add a measuring teaspoon to the container. I add 1 tsp of this mix to my washing machine, like any other powder detergent. Hint: to crush lumps in the mix when making this, I use my metal potato masher.

Question: which is more cost effective? Sodium Percarbonate or Oxi Clean? I will definitely try this. When we had carpet, I used to use washing soda in place of carpet cleaner. It had less suds and a pleasant smell. I never knew anyone else that tried this. Happy cleaning! Oh, and cooking! I’m going to try your pasta soak today.
@TheFrugalMinimalist5 жыл бұрын
Great question! For laundry actually I think the OxiClean is more cost effective, but just by a small amount. The sodium percarbonate has the added benefit of being safe around foods, so it's worth it for us! 😂 I thought it was only me who thought it has a smell! @TheFrugalMinimalist5 жыл бұрын
Hi Cathy! For cleaning a washing machine, I'd really use the DT stuff. I've heard of some using oxyclean to clean a washing machine. They fill with hot water and just let it soak for hours, then run the water through. It only works on top loaders as I understand. SPC I like more for food stuffs because it's pure. DT has the sodium percarbonate and others ingredients/fillters, while the one I listed on Amazon is food grade. I hope this helps!
