The insights on SEO for creatives are spot on. To add, when generating leads, consider leveraging 'topic clusters' for your content strategy. This means creating a series of interlinked articles or pages centered around one main theme; this will significantly boost your site's authority on that subject in search engines.
@thelifewithnate10 ай бұрын
Oh, good to know! Do you find that with a bunch of interlinked pages around one main theme, it boosts the overall number of visitors even when you recently started? Or does it take a while for it to compound over time?
@julekim10 ай бұрын

Content Silos These are fun, please allow me to add to this: There's a subtitle heiarcy within each article/blog. It's easiest to think of these silos in the same manner. Considering the top point of the silo is usually a money post. Those below follow the same idea along the journey. Each tier within the silo is an area along this journey towards that money post. Topical silos all share a main focus, but the long tail version of it is what makes it slightly different. Keep in mind, duplicate content is a gray area. So make sure it's different enough to not be in the gray area.

I empathize with the discomfort she must feel from conversing with someone who doesn't reciprocate the same amount of appreciation and respect for what she's giving. @@julekim at 52:28 you nailed it! We say this in a more condensed way on our website. The audience we work with is high-performing real estate agents. As real estate agents, they constantly educate their clients on the importance of owning real estate and why there's more long-term value in owning real estate as opposed to renting; however, when it comes to digital real estate, a lot of real estate agents are "renting" a room on Instagram. What if the "landlord" (Meta) decides to kick them out of their rented apartment (their profile) or if it gets hacked? By owning your own digital real estate (your own website) you have a full digital home with multiple rooms where your customers can learn about you and stay longer. They can build "equity" in their digital real estate through SEO. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you touch up on that. Glad to hear that someone else sees it the same way. My question is, translating that message to real estate agents who believe that Instagram is the way to go and is enough for them.

Do you rank on any of these keywords? As in, do you show up on page 1 of Google for them? As long as you’re using keywords that are actually relevant to what you do or sell, there is no such thing as being blacklisted as spam. Being blacklisted would be if you did shady a$$ stuff, like putting 200 keywords in the same color as the background color on one page, etc.

I only started thinking about lead generation about a year into my other creative project and that's when I started getting flooded with emails from a lot of folks after that solid year of building a rep. Here's a pro tip for any creatives struggling with leads: reach out to PR firms as they have a lot of local reach in multiple niches. I began to teach myself how to use the free seo tools to look at creating a better niche. Then I began figuring out how to have ChatGPT help me outline posts with relevant keywords. This also helped me better understand blog post formatting as I really wasn’t taking advantage of that. Then I began rewriting my sales funnel on the site. None of this is really live. More like a longer project I work on in the background. I thrive on step by step processes with examples I can reverse engineer. This vid helped me really translate real world language into web relevant formatting and traffic improvements thanks!

@20:40 - Thing is...not everyone wanna go the educator way to up their SEO. Some professionals don't use teaching as it doesn't fit their branding to be a tutor. Question is...what are the other ways to Up the SEO if not by teaching?

You can focus more on technical and backlinks, but you’re going to miss out on traffic. You could win on some keywords, but there’s no getting around having content if you want to become known in a space. Btw did you watch the entire video? I did state that you can use your visual assets as content if you take advantage of the metadata.

Nice, are you working on your website?

By far, the most important keywords you should be working on initially are not mid-funnel question answering content. It's simply just buyer intent keywords. Once you are on first page with those, then you work hard on mid-funnel, supporting content to support to buyer intent cornerstone content to rank it higher, and to get even more traffic to the mid-funnel. Then, you can work on top of funnel, answering the more generalized questions.

2x things.. - domain authority is not a Google given score - it comes from third party platforms that give you an idea of how "good" your website is. It is mainly influencer by how good backlinks are and from what niche relevant sources provide these backlinks. - Toxic or spammy backlinks are no longer penalised - they get ignored - so you can't "harm" a competitor website by building crap backlinks. Just an FYI

42:30 💯💯💯💯💯 As a creative, I despise how other creatives simply refuse to slap pricing on their websites. We're not that special! Get over it and have a starting at price.
