The story? The story was shit. The relationship between the hero and his wife felt more like brother and sister it's so badly written. You can tell way in advance what's going to happen, there are no surprises. It's long, boring, grindy and very average. there is never a wow moment (like in War Z with the hordes climbing walls). You don't care about any of the characters and the missions of wgoing from one end of the map to the otehr end of the map to just get a cut scene or a bit of dialog is pooly paced padding. Don't get me going on having 4 charcters call you on your CB moments after you get out of a compound, especially when i was just talking to them 1 minute before and they didn't mention anything. 6/10

I have enjoyed the game so far.. its no where near perfect.. has alot of bugs and frame rate issues..story so far is not all that (currently slightly more than halfway done)..but gameplay wise its fun.. not the best but fun enough to pass time until another major game drops.. for me its like a 7.5/10.. not that bad not that good but still enjoyable if you take in consideration the bugs

I really like this game... I did feel a connection with the characters. At the beginning Deek was really irritable, but you see him evolve and at the end... the ending makes sense to me. It has ALOT of technical flaws and it is really slow... but at the end, I really enjoyed the game play and story.

I just completed it and I really enjoyed it , yes it dragged at parts but I’d rather the long story over today’s shitty 5 hour campaigns, a lot of effort would have gone into the game yes there’s bugs but over all I enjoyed it.

I like this game but I 100% agree with everything said in this review. It has a lot of flaws-- there were so many things that could've been better on so many aspects of the game. The human AI is really bad-- that was the biggest disappointment for me as well. Games like Uncharted 4 had so much better AI and I excepted it to be somewhere close to that but it isn't. Despite all that, I don't regret buying it at all-- once you get into it it really gets better and the hordes are really challenging. I would say for me it's a 7.5 out of 10. I really appreciate the effort Sony Bend put into this game and all I would say is that this game is a heck of a first try for them-- so much potential that I actually hope that they make a sequel after paying attention to what we've said, take their time and do it even better. They did really good, but they have the potential to do great.

I quit doing side shit that I didn't even care about and decided to just push the main story. I'm so glad I did because after 60 hours of this game, I love it. The pacing is really bad at the beginning but if you push through it, you'll find a fantastic story with great characters and moments. You should not review a game if you haven't beaten it imo. Deffo can see your point, and worth the $60 i can see why its more like worth $40. IMO i think its a solid 7/10 as i didnt encounter not as many bugs, as some say an there is alot of filler content but its much better than your standard ubisoft open world games, its a good 30+hours so cant complain, an compared to rest of the games this gen it does not feel great, but its still a good compelling game, considering it was made by 80 people for 6years compared to say RDR2 which has over 600people involved for 9years. But you got to remember where Bend studio came from, so you got to have faith in the studio to get the people an support from sony

And I felt like the way they separated the storylines by how much percent you've completed was actually intriguing. I would like that mechanic to be introduced in more open world games. It feels like a launch title game. If this came out in 2013, 2014 it would’ve been great. But it didn’t come out during the launch but rather the PS4s last few years or year. I have put about 20 hours in and it’s boring af not worth 60 bones I would wait till it’s free cuz it’s that bad Do not waste your money and this is coming from a big Sony fan boy who wanted this game to be good so badly but it let me down .

@@ambiguousgender7616 Concept wise I mean. Its like red dead but with bikers instead of cowboys. The heavy emphasis on taking care of your bike is pretty unique imo. I personally like that mechanic but I'm only a few hours in so i might get sick of it later on.
