Blu ray has already been confirmed for Xbox One iirc. Tons of games of first party games for the PS3 actually took up most of the 25 gb and seeing as how all three platforms now use bd its likely that more and more games will actually be at least more than 10gb. The problem is that they never needed that and no one asked for that. One of the main advantage of consoles imo is being able to trade games with other people and with the installs that is pretty much out of the window

the Xbox One conference was great. Microsoft introduced the Xbox One along with the entertainment side of things. They talked little about games for a reason. Their objective was to leave the gamers wanting to see more and what better way to show how great the Xbox One is than at E3 when every gamer (Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony lovers) will be watching. Gamers care about the games, I couldn't agree more. But Microsoft wants to show off their games when every gaming fan is watching.

When they switched to tv it wasn't live. & the skype call wasn't live either, you could tell by his body language & pausing. & i checked my local listing none of those shows were on when they were doing the conference.

How a console looks doesn't really matter, but I think the reason Sony haven't released an image just yet is to get more people talking at E3 after they unveil it there. Both companies are going to show more software anyway, so might as well have this as a bonus for Sony to make their conference a little more interesting.

the whole used games thing is tied to digital downloads, playing games without a disc and the licence to the content on the disc kind of like the DLC licence you get now when you dl map packs etc.they said they will be announcing how it all works at a later date, i will wait and see. but i suspect if sony is doing digital and no disc play, they will go a similar way, they would almost have to like i told you yesterday.

Let's just be honest. Microsoft dropped the ball on this one. Good thing for them that they can save themselves by making E3 about the games and nothing more. As a gamer I will get both systems to be honest. Now which one I get first depends on E3.

This is what im saying, you buy a game. You put it in, you have to install it and i guess that the console AT LEAST the first time needs to connect to the servers so it can authenticate the serial of the game the game that you bought with your account and therefore your console. After that there is no need to connect again i guess, BUT you have to have internet connection at least at the moment of the pairing. If this is not like this, Microsoft should dig deeper into the subject and explain it.

By the way, the 8 gigs of RAM on the ONE is GDDR3 while on the PS4 it's GDDR5. Just saying, so that people don't think it's the exact same thing.

The day of the conference people tried to watch the stream on their Xbox (Which had Kinect) and when the guy was talking about the Kinect and telling it what to do their own Kinects started going crazy because with the right command they would do what the guy on the stream is saying, going as far as even shutting off the Xbox during the stream. This clearly shows a big downfall to Kinect and voice command + never being able to shut it down causes a big problem

Gamer, on the Fee for used games, do you think there will be no Account Sharing? Maybe your friend can't log in to your account, since your Xbox ONE will be linked to ONE account. If that is true. I'm stickin with my PS3 and (future) PS4.

When sony did there conference do you remember them saying or showing off that they have cross game chat? Cross game chat really isn't that big of a deal, psvita have cross game chat as well. Blue ray is really important with how much space a game can fit on the disc. It not like when you play a game on ps3 online you can't chat to your friends lol.

Gamer2323 the Xbox uses DDR3 not 5 like the ps4. Also the ps4 has 1.8 teraflops, while the Xbox uses 1.2. Giving the PS4 about 50% more raw power. Just a heads up. Also great vid.

Lol I was thinking the same thing about them ripping off beyond. Btw just to let you know, even though the xbox1 has 8 gigs of ram like the ps4, they are different kinds. Ps4 is GDDR5, and xbox1 is DDR3, which is a pretty good bit slower. Also, but don't quote me, I heard the xbox1 OS will use 3 gigs of that ram while ps4 will use only 1 gig, leaving a lot more left for games. Ps4 will get better on average multiplats next gen, since its just as easy to develop for as xbox but more powerful.

I think Microsoft had to show the xbox one because they posted a comment about ps4 reveal. Saying how can you announce a console without showing it?. So MS had to show it. However this proved that showing the console doesn't prove success. Sony got alot better feedback without showing the console. So sony was right with their reveal and will get us now wanting ps4 more now after xbox one reveal. Smart move sony!.

And you have it wrong about the used games what there saying is if you take your disc round to your mates house and he installs it on his system then although all the game info is on his hard drive he still needs the master disc to play it your disc!! Otherwise he will have to pay to unlock his copy thats installed on his system as he dont have the master disc!! Get it now bro??? Its easy to understand and people are getting mixed up thinkin otherwise!!!!
