From have said many times recently they don't want to be involved with 3rd party publishers anymore, presumably because of Bloodbourne and Sekiro. However there are rumours they have not abandonded the mechanics themselves and now the ER dlc is done who knows what might come next!

You definitely can, and should, break the posture of guardian ape. It's actually easier in the second phase to do so. Deflecting the last attack of two of his combos makes him fall, and you can use the spear prosthetic on its neck to pull out the centipede, dealing huge posture damage.

Stellar Blade is very similar to Sekiro. I'd even say the combat is a blend of Sekiro and Bayonetta. You got perfect blocks which can lead to a 'deathblow' type animation. You also got perfect dodges and abilities that are earned from doing well in combat. I can't praise Stellar Blade enough. It's an excellent game. Plus the main character is even hotter than Bayonetta lol

i 100% sekiro after about 130 hrs, 3 total playthroughs, one of the hardests yet most rewarding completion runs of anygame ive played. i remeber when i first tried it and toook me over 2 hours for the first ogre boss. to now i can have him down in a matter of minutes. once the gamp;lay "clicks" with you, it turns into a rhythm game effectively and made the combat more satisfying (to me) super cool video and a nice change of pace from when i first started watching back in 2018. u now have 3 fromsoft platinums under your belt, and i belive they are worth celebrating.

I feel like every decision Cynical made was to make the game harder on himself. You can get all the endings in one playthrough, though two are required for Lapis, missing this is totally fair as getting the other endings can be a right pain without a guide. It’s easier to go to get the toothpick first, then go after the ape and end with the corrupted monk. Make sure you fight every boss you can on every playthrough, even if you aren’t getting the relevant ending. Bosses beaten are directly correlated with player power, so you’ll want to save the Shura ending for the very last one. Enemies also get harder with every NG+ cycle, so fighting hard bosses in earlier playthroughs can save your bacon.

To say "Mad props" doesn't even cover it, this is LEGENDARY levels of concentration and determination and I'd throw ya 50 dollars if I wasn't broke-af, b/c DAYUM, do you deserve a treat after that one! Bit sad that the final SotE boss got spoiled for me in this vid, but it HAS been a whole month, I couuuuld have finished watching a playthru by now if I'd started earlier, oh well...

Good job!! this one was definitely a tought one to do, though here the platinum’s difficulty was almost solely hard because of how challenging that game itself is. a lot of other souls games just consist of getting every item, which is quite tedious imo. I’ve only platinumed Bloodborne and Sekiro for this reason. They’re less focused on collectibles so it feels like a smoother journey with a lesser need to use a guide that often.

Note to new sekiro players, the health bar is important in some boss fights as some bosses posture recovers really quickly so you have to deal health damage to slow it down.

Ngl I was terrified of Sword Saint Isshin when I played Senior. I had heard so many stories about how hard he was, and when I finally got to him, I beat him in under 10 tries. Not trying to brag at alll but I found it funny how easy he was for me compared to other bosses (Corrupted Monk)

One of my favourite things about Sekiro is that Great Shinobi Owl and Owl (Father) are basically exact opposite in how you approach them despite being the same guy. Great Shinobi requires patience and being methodical but if you go super aggressive on (Father) he can barely respond to you and you lock out loads of his moves as long as you keep pressure on him.

Nicely done! In my first playthrough i considered to give up after hours and hours to beat owl....only to find another Boss with 3 health Bars directly after that.... But than I improved and loved the game after only a few tries to beat Ishin the swordsaint. After a few playtroughs I decided to try the game without kuros Charm....and Ishin was a f...to beat. I needed hours and hours and hours.....but now....I play the game without kuros Charm and the belldemon active and I beat every Boss in the game first try. Only Boss that makes me sweat today is the inner owl fight bc of his mist raven move. Imo the inner owl fight is by far the hatdest Boss I have ever faced. The difficulty is incredible and absolutely unforgiving. You have within a 6 to 8 minute Boss fight only 1 false decition....you can revive after that 1 false Button.....but 1 thing to miss perfectly is really not that much 😅 Nevertheless...I love this game

14:44 Here's the strat I use to kill the folding screen monkeys in case anyone needs it: For the invisible one- Turn around and attack it you kill it one hit anyway For the orange monkey- Use a Gachiin Sugar to hide your presence crouch walk towards the building it's perched on and when it starts walking away stealth kill it For the Green Monkey- Grapple to the tree and immediately use the Firecrackers it will get stunned and you can kill it For the purple monkey- He'll run away when he first sees you so if he goes into the room with huge temple roof over it open the door then trick the monkey back into that room by following it around once inside the dark room you can kill him And that's all I use this method everytime for the FSM

I love the fact that Cynical has basically started becoming a platinum trophy hunter 🤣 it's an addiction. I'm currently working on the FF7 Rebirth platinum and my god, I'm hanging onto dear life 😭 over a 100 hours put into the game and only 60% in for the plat. if you pull up a guide wich you can find in pretty much every trophy forum, you can do it pretty quick, i managed the plat in around 45 hours with save scumming on the first playtrough to get the 3 endings, the only hard part was the XP grind wich took me around 5 to 6 hours, on NG+ for the sura ending you can get it in around 1:30h to 2H if you boss rush, just make sure to backup your save before talking to owl just so you can reload it and go trough the game until you unlock the farming spot

My most hated part is the folding screen monkeys, I always cheese them by using the gachin sugar prior to interacting with the bell. That way I wont alert them and defeat them in less than 1min.

I've beaten every single souls game in the series including DLCs, and every boss including optional bosses, and I still never bothered to go out of my way to Platinum them. ☠️ If it happened, it happened, otherwise I never thought to. 😂 100% valid comment about Yozora btw, and I haven't even fought the man on Crit yet so that's just based off of what I'm imagining and what I've seen (even compared to my 10 straight hours on Consort Radahn). 😅 I haven't even done the KH3 data battles on Crit yet actually. Matter of fact, I never bothered to even do a KH2 FM Crit playthrough. 😬 Guess I have some content I can focus on when KH4 finally gets a release date. You gotta do 3 playthroughs anyway to max out all the Shinobi prosthetics but it’s also easier to earn XP and unlock all skills on playthrough 3 than on 1 or 2. I love Demon of Hatred, I think he’s so fun. I had a way waaaaaay easier time beating him for the first time than Isshin. Isshin took me forever.

2nd comment so my 1st isn't the length of a book, but also hopefully so it helps YT revenue, but I definitely agree with most of your points in this video. I also had to do 3 playthroughs because I missed the same 2 endings in my 1st, but I made sure to do those endings 2nd, and save Shura for last since it's the shortest. I will say though, demon bell + charmless on that last playthrough was still TOUGH. Never went back to fight Demon of Hatred in the 2nd or 3rd, even with the cheese tactics. That boss was SUPER questionable in design to say the least. Still hella cool, and a sick fight overall, but to make it so you basically throw everything you spent the whole game learning out the window is absolutely wild. Glad they made it optional at least. I'd love to see more of the Souls series content coming from you bro. This one was a surprise and I watched every second of it. I hope you take the time to go play the others and potentially post some more content on it. I didn't catch any of your Elden Ring playthrough, but I was hoping to see it at some point. Not sure if you streamed it or not but let me know if you read this!

Tip: just don't fight Demon of Hatred! Climb on to the watchtower nearest to the castle gate (after getting the demon stuck behind the tree near a corner) and just climb on top of a wall and lure the demon off of the edge

6:56 you can do this, but also theres a trophy for filling out the entire skill tree, in which if you do safe scum youre gonna need to xp farm for literall hours, if you just new game plus each time itll be so much easier and lowkey faster than xp farming, the game is very short, and most of the time spent on your first playthrough is simply spent on dying, so if you have beat the game once and gotten good, you can beat the game in less than 3 hours, whilst getting xp, and materials to upgrade

Phase two ape is far far easier than phase one. When I first did guardian ape I sucked at it because I looked at phase one as a posture fight instead of a hp fight, after I realised that, easy.
