The problem with this headphone is the non detachable cable, and the non detachable earcups, but there is a 3D model online that you can print and the earcups become hotswappable, i did it to the original and changed the stock earcups for a more confortable one by misodiko.

@@darrennaidoo5362 Hi I haven't tried out the phontums. However from the reviews I've watched, the reviewers found the phontums better for gaming in terms of sound imaging. I'm still loving the hs50 pros though. They feel like butter over the ears and sound amazing during the last of us and uncharted gameplay. Hope this helps you make your decision.

I had an hs60 7.1 but it stopped working properly after 1 years and a month from nowhere... i putted on warranty and now the shop gave me a voucher... at the time i bought the hs60 for 50€( headset is 70€), but since I bought it with discount i have the 50€ to spend and this one is at that price range on sale too! I returned them like 2 days after because my party friends complained that they could hear my gameplay and whenever I switched back to my old ones it was all good. So instead I got Steel Series Artics 3 console edition.

The best headset for 50$ and that too with neodymium drivers which are often present in high-end headsets. The sound quality is brilliant and worth every penny. It doesn't have surround but you can pair it up with Dolby atmos for that ideal gaming experience. Nevertheless it sounds on a par with other high-end headsets far more expensive!

i had HS50 Pro's for almost a year now and on my opinion the headband should be softer like in the Hyperx cloud II after 2 hours of playing top of my head hurts couse of it also the earcups are like blocks i would like them to be rounded like in the Hyperx cloud II sound quality and mic are good no complains there so basicly its just downgraded Hyperx cloud II for 10$ - 20$ cheaper i would recommend Cooler Master MH630 in 2021 it gets the comfort right and mic is very clear that goes for 60$
