Low carb diet means No disease, No docter, No drugs, No obesity, & Healthy life. Sir I follow this diet since last year when my sugar level was 360pp and BP was 240, but now my sugar is 104 and BP is 120 at age 60 and lose 12kg weight in last 7 months (75 to 63).hight,5ft,7 inch No Metformin, no i Insulin. @@muneer26 Take more of protein- Home made paneer should be included in your diet in moderation- very less in carbs and high in protein. You can eat chole, rajma and eat moong dal( moong dal chila with peanut chutney). Add more green leafy vegetables like palak, cabbage in your diet. If you want to protect your heart then you need to take vitamin K2- it will help you prevent calcium deposits in your arteries. Avoid vegetable oil like sunflower oil, saffola etc- very dangerous for the heart. Use very less oil and try to use Olive oil or small amount of pure desi ghee. You can also look for greek yoghurt salad. it is tasty and very healthy. The doctor is right about not eating sugar. Sugar needs to be completely avoided along with refined vegetable oil Exercise every day- 2-3 kms of walking and do 45-50 squats every day. For good results, practice intermittent fasting. Eat less(only home cooked food) and you will prolong your life.

Doctor, my practical experience is that "once a diabetic, always a diabetic". Practically one can only reduce metformin, sulfo-urea (gliclazide) drugs dose in DMT2. This is sad and good sides of T-2 diabetes. 😢/😅

टेबल शुगर कम करना चाहिए ये तो सही है लेकीन जादा ध्यान रोटी और चावल कम खानेपर जादा देना चाहिए एक समयपर रोटी और चावल दोनो नहीं खाना चाहिए या तो आप रोटी खाए या चावल एक बार जादा से ज्यादा दो रोटी खाए अगर आपने शरुआतमे भरपूर सॅलड खाया तो एक रोटी से भी काम चल जाता है एक रोटी एक कटोरी दाल एक कटोरी सब्जी और एक कटोरी सॅलड खाया तो पेट भर जाता है रोटी खाते समय उसपर एक या दोन चमच घी लगाना ना भूले दालकी जगह आप एक कटोरी कोई भी नाॅनव्हेज डिश ले सकते हो ये ध्यान में रखना है की कार्बोहाइड्रेट की मात्रा पचीस परसेंटसे जादा ना हो

We eat chapati, bhakri and rice as staple food in Maharashtra. All of these are carbohydrates but constitute a major portion of our diet. Please suggest some substitutes for the same.

Doctor Sahib, My food pipe blcked due to Harnia increased at the joint of my food pipe. So at fortis Hospital, Delhi it was opened 50% by putting baloon and for remaining 2 medicines given for reducing pressure in food pipe due to gas & acidity . But after 10- 12 days i feel same problem. Kindly advise best treatment and oblige.
