Although I had a different problem from yours, the bonus footage of cleaning out the drain pump is what ultimately was what I was looking for. Thanks!

Ours is not fully spinning the clothes dry and there is water coming from the bottom some place. Would that be the valve or maybe the pump or do you is it that filter on the bottom that's clogged? I'll try and pull it tomorrow and see, but any advice would be helpful. Great video, very informative, thanks! keep up the good work.
@TheGAutomotiveAndMore11 ай бұрын
Yes check the filter first. Then look for the leak. If the pump is leaking replace it and see if that takes care of your problem.

@@TheGAutomotiveAndMore I cleaned the filter and no more water underneath, thanks for that! However just before I did that, it started blowing the GFCI started tripping just before hand. After I cleaned the filter the GFCI is still tripping after every like 3 loads. The washer is the only thing plugged into it and it never tripped in the years before it started a few days ago. Suggestions? Thanks again for the help, much appreciated! I suggest you include like 'filter cleaning' in the title of your video, might pull in some more views. I didn't even know it had one before I saw this.

@@litlewolf2 There could be something wrong with the washing machine or your GFCI is going bad. I seen the GFCI go bad after years of use. I would replace the GFCI first because they are cheap and easy to replace. Thanks for watching

Great video, what does E1f1 error mean??
@TheGAutomotiveAndMore Жыл бұрын
The F1 E1 alert indicates there is an issue with the appliance control unit or associated wiring. Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker or unplugging for one (1) minute. Power unit up by reconnecting power. Restart a new cycle. Monitor the washer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.

What was happening to the washing machine that cause you to replace this? I know you said it was filling with water but did it cause excessive water draining?
@TheGAutomotiveAndMore2 жыл бұрын
The machine had water haft way up the door glass. It did pump it out but the machine seamed to run much longer.

@@TheGAutomotiveAndMore did you ever experience a situation when there was so much water draining that the drain in the wall backed up?
@TheGAutomotiveAndMore2 жыл бұрын
No, sounds like your drain tube is not far enough in or the drain is clogged up.
