I have a 2002 with qx4 and love it. Bought it with 180,000 miles and now has 218,000, still running great. I am looking at upgrading but it's hard because it such a great truck.

I have a 2001 with 86,000 miles on it, I call mine Q,(reference to Star Trek), it came with HID's runs great and handles like a car. I got it for about $4,000 two years ago and so far only had to replace rear shocks and upper and lower trailing arms, (had rear sway on highway). No rust issues I love this truck, but its only rear wheel drive not 4 heel. I have the same issue with rear hatch rattle, I need to figure out how to quiet that, but the interior is very clean and just one rip in drivers side seat.😊

My aunt bought a pathfinder brand new back in late 90’s now she has a fortuner, i ask her about the pathfinder and she looked at me a face of pride and said “that’s the best car in the world” 😂 she gave it to her son, he wrecked it but she got it fixed, body car repair is cheap and very well made outside of US

@@BernonCars had a 94 Pathfinder about 25 yrs. ago, and I liked it more than my Volvo XC90. It was great off road, until my 14 yr. old took it for a spin. Totaled!😂

I have a 2003 Subaru Legacy wagon 5speed my grandson is going to drive for a year. I’ll probably buy him an SUV for high school, so I really like your take on the different SUVs. You’re saving me time. I have a Volvo XC90 but the maintenance and insurance for a 16 yr. old boy has to factor in. If I buy, he & his grandfather can work on it over next summer break, so I have time to kick a few tires. I might put this on my list.😊

I had a 2002 Infiniti qx4 for about year. Love how it had heated front and rear seats, HIDs, and a very advance awd/4wd system. It was taken from a Nissan gtr and had 4wd auto, low ranged and lsd. Had to get rid of it due to 1) their navigation system contained Their air conditioning system which was a problem when buttons fell off 2) this car like many Nissans was a rust bucket known issue and recall. The rust killed my qx4. Otherwise underrated overlander and daily suv. Super reliable otherwise as I purchased mine with a 108k miles.

YES ! I DO HAVE A 2002 QX4 WITH 243.000 MILES. THIS WILL CERTAINELY BE MY LAST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP BUT I JUST REPAINTED THE BODY SIDE MOLDING FOR 300 DOLLARS. AS FAR AS RETAIL, I WOULDN'T EXPECT MUCH 2500 DOLLARS MAY BE.

I bought a 2003 QX4 about 1 year ago with around 111,000miles, bone stock, silver, and with the interior in amazing shape. I couldn’t be happier. Other than a couple of oil leaks and needing a new radiator, it’s been a great daily driver ( the mpg is horrible but what else do you expect). Super comfortable, enjoyable, starts everyday and has that 90’s feel which I go autistic for. Also, we found it in this condition for $6k and compared to the 4Runners from this generation, it’s much more reasonably priced if you’re not looking to drop a lot of money on a older suv and still get something with the features you want. Definitely not a vehicle to overlook if you find one in good condition!

I had a 1998 Infiniti QX4 that I bought in 2006. It lasted until 280,000+ miles until it finally gave out. She was my first real car (I actually don’t have my own car rn as I’m now disabled and can’t afford one). I loved her so much!!!!! I took her everywhere. Yes, the gas mileage was painful, but man, was she a tank! The interior was well-made and beautifully planned. I often slept in her as well. If I had money, and I wanted to fix up a project, I’d buy a QX4 and restore it, then convert it to an electric vehicle. It would be such a fun project! PS - the QX4 drove like a dream!!!

ive been looking for a R50 SE for 6 months now. Most of the vehicles I actually take the time to go see have massive issues undisclosed or are completely rusted out underneath. I always wanted one since my childhood so I continue to look. The probability of actually finding and buying a clean example at a good price is extremely low as prices have gone up. It just makes no sense buying a R50 for R51 money just because its clean. Bern, find a nice R50 SE with a sunroof and call it a day.

I have the infiniti qx4 2000 very low maintenance zero rust underneath but I lost mine where rear ended my beloved qx4 last year and is totalled is not the best suv but strong and dependable .. if i find the infiniti qx4 which is zero rust i gonna buy again. The looks and the paint hold for the ages the clear coat is very intact

I live in northern British Columbia. I have had a 2001 for about ten years. The stories I could say about this vehicle. One of the best hardcore winter vehicles you could own. An unreal machine honestly. And this is coming from a lifted truck loving douche bag haha. Sadly I think the rust is what kill mine before anything else😢

We have the 2003 qx4 it was great until infinity in roseville ca did not fill our front differential resulting in ring and pinion failure plus and of course they deny it,but im a retired mechanic of 45 years so i know Also our lube place checked it it was empty, and there is no evidence of leakage period Other than that this vehicle is excellent i bought it for my wife and grandsons to be safe in,the visibility is very good too,which matters for shorter drivers. There was a recall on the airbag so we sent it to infinity of Roseville ca,we got burned really hard by them but still yhis vehicle is going down the road,but niw i have to get it repaired on dissability... Not fair😮

Got a question if possible, I have the exact "burgundy beast", she's my little claret winer. So today I took her out in the snow and wheelies a little bit. Then my front passenger wheel broke, it's leaning inward and is vibrating bad. Almost didn't make it home. I've been googling but I don't know how to tell what's broken and how to fix it. It's my only driver for work. Was hoping maybe someone has had this happen. Thank you everyone, sorry to bum the thread
