I believe in the menu to overview the whole town, you can un-employ everyone and the reempoly them and the game will assign workers to the shops closest to them.

I think the palace should face the commoners. Maybe the entrance is super close to the embassy? And put the bank nearby? Love the content!

Penge, have you ever considered polling your viewers for some decisions? E.g. you could end a video asking "Which tile should we build the palace on?" and the lovely commenting people vote 1 or 2, or "the central tile" or "the tile near the commoners".
