Just installed one on my p07, combined with some light hand polish and thing is amazing, I absolutely hate the decocker spring though.

I could be wrong but i think CZ had to go with the RMSC/K footprint to avoid interfering with internals. That being said, the full size EPS has the K footprint and is a perfect match for this gun. That's what i plan on mounting once i pick one of these up. P07 has been my EDC/IDPA rig for a while now so the 09F will be great for a duty/carry optic/3gun set up

Yeah the reddit pictures of the full size EPS looks ideal to me fits dang close to a perfect fit. Since you grabbed this does that mean you are going to run you A01 with p09/p10 mags not convert for the 75 mags? If you build up your p09/p10 mag eco system they are compatible with the DWX if you go down that route later.

@@LVbibby no, I already did it on one. Tbh… I’m thinking of actually doing a video on it for the B-Channel on the difference between putting on the grips and mag release. Let’s just say I made a few “whoops” in the process

Another great review. Had two old P07s, both cajunized and one milled. Reliable and great guns. Ended up offloading them, but they’re a great value and once you get a trigger job and Dawson sights/optic they perform well above their price.

The P09 is a very well designed pistol. My favorite polymer pistol for sure. The omega trigger system is a great design as well. It breaks in better with more rounds. Also pretty sure those sights will glow pretty good for a while after charged with light for a while. The P09 and P07 are just so easy to shoot well for me.

While there is no tritium, it does have very good luminescent paint, as on the older P-07. If you charge it with the sun or a strong flashlight you will get a good ten minutes of bright glow. CZ-USA says the new model has "Contrast and luminescent three dot sight picture" so likely the same.

New to your channel great video I'm kind of a CZ Fanboy . Can a 97 B, be converted to either 10 mm 45 super or 9x 25 dillon? I would much prefer 10 mm I think it's coming back I have a xde 3.8 inch.
@TheGentlemanGunner
@TheGentlemanGunner 2 күн бұрын
I think that would be interesting. If can be converted, I’d have to be a whole entire upper… breach face is machined to the slide for the caliber (some 2011s can change calibers on the same slide, like Infinity’s)… but if someone knows… it’d be interested just because why not?!?!

Thanks for the video very informative and well done as always! Thanks for pushing the CZ content hope you get that sweet A01 back soon! This probably doesn't fit much of a role for you unless you needed a winter carry or a hammer fired duty belt pistol, but thanks for reviewing it. I'm definitely grabbing the P09c very soon so I appreciate your coverage as well as Humble Marksman video. Yeah the optic cut is a little weird especially since they had an existing plate ecosystem for full size optics on other models. Fortunately the compact will be in my carry rotation so the eps 6 moa or that new enclosed sig romeo will go on her. Although C-more has an rmsc compatible smaller optic no idea if it's worth anything, but interesting and sub 3 hundo direct on their website. Be well looking forward to your competition updates and future videos!

I have a P09 cut for the RMR, and had a p07 cut the same. I have never been able to shoot the p09 as well as the p07. My phantom, cut for an optic blows both of them away……. With that said, while I love the recoil and ergos of the p series, my Canik rival blows both of them out of the water both in slow fire accuracy and efficiency. Maybe it’s the trigger reach, maybe it’s the trigger…. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think the Omega trigger is a miss on this. As long as that can be changed out, the for $500, this gun is amazing.

I am somewhat impatiently awaiting a call from Cajun GW to let me know my copy is winging its way to my friendly neighborhood FFL! Being trapped behind a modern day Berlin Wall, tracking down a neutered 10-round version has been challenging (but that’s the grabbers intent)!! And with only the one permit remaining its come down to a waiting game. Waiting on the CZ and hoping it shows before my permission slip. Clocks out OR the. Sure thing - A Y-Gun Beretta GTS that will cost less than the nocturne!! What to do?? What - to - do?? My ADHD is firing on all cylinders! Let’s see what you say - may help calm the ‘tism.

@@rurouniad first and foremost, thank you for challenging me on this. The frustrating thing for me is trying to figure out why people will watch and like the videos… but no thoughts after. Let me start with the purpose of the this drill. The point is to see how well the gun recovers under rapid fire and what the general recoil impulse is like. The first go around are controlled pairs (in which you see I was at 0.30s)… then I ramp up the speed. My goal is to maintain a 3-4” group and in this case, 0.24. When I went faster, I started dipping into the .18/.19s… the group spread out to 7-10” typically with the second shot being high. I didn’t show that run in this video as well as kept the recoil impulse off of this part because I felt I covered that enough in other portions and didn’t want the info redundant. Yes I am the variable and of course it is dependent on my skill. So what I do is try keep as many variables consistent such as using blazer 115 Aluminum for ammo, distance, and targets. My grip is something the audience has to trust me on and I try to use my actual grip and not a forced one… I can certainly hunker down and perhaps with some practice… crank out .18 splits at 10yds with this gun. But I try to keep it to as close to someone just grabbing the gun and going for it. I can showcase my skill, but that’s not what the audience is interested in. I have b-channel that I show my actual matches… and those views are way less than these lol. To answer other question, I don’t drink and this was the only gun I tested that day with the weather being great for once (I put the temps on the day I evaluate on the the actual list)… so debatably should’ve been at my best. But I can walk away from this one with confidence I didn’t give this gun any special treatment nor did I fall short on it. I sincerely appreciate you challenging it and welcome it… and thank you for watching!

@@TheGentlemanGunner my goodness. It wasn’t a challenge. I’m trying to find the “how can I correlate this” in my own journey. Now just for a decorum of confidence boost. The overwhelming majority of shooters aren’t talking about how it all falls apart in .01 hundredths of a second lol. Yet here we are. Also yes, I drink. Generally I avoid it when I care about my performance the next day. I can journal the days my performance takes a leap or stagnates based on this too at times when I’m just practicing. I enjoy your videos. I have meant to comment on this procedure to get a better understanding of it. In many ways I see a ton of your reviews and shooting roll and live vicariously through you. Your channel is good. I’m staying. You aren’t getting rid of me. lol. Also, dude I’m B class. I’m a a baby!

@@TheGentlemanGunner I thought it was fun that you are shooting blazer alum because it has a weak impulse. I “discovered this” as well. I only ditched it when I found monarch was dirt cheap at academy. An extra 100-150 rounds does add up over the course of a year.
