I've listened to Courtney speak many times. It seems she has simplified her life to great family and friends. A love of science, nachos, candy, and good beer. She pays for it all by running distances I had no idea humans were capable of running in mind boggling short times. It sounds like a amazing life to smile and be happy about.

Courtney may not be in a classroom anymore, but no doubt she continues to teach and inspire!

She will be first female Barkley finisher!!!

Although I wish that would happen, I don't believe she will ever try the Barkley.

Barkley doesn’t seem like her kind of race but it would be cool
@remember1ify4 жыл бұрын
@@emmajars58 i think that too. It's not like she's against giving her body a beating. It just doesn't seem like her thing given that she hasn't already attempted it

I would be so so excited to see her attempt it though! Super curious how far she would go. And how she'd report on the race.

Courtney, you are one special person. Love your spirit and hope the best for you as a person and a runner.

Such a good chat folks, thank you all so much. Within a minute of her crossing the line at utmb I thought, "Well... now she knows the course!" And that's ridiculously exciting. We haven't even really seen what Courtney can do there yet. Also cannot wait for Hardrock next year.

Totally amazing Courtney had that intense of an injury and was able to run UTMB just 2 months later, but winning it, wow that's crazy, and very inspiring! Makes me wonder whether taking time off from running for several weeks (at least) before a big event like UTMB would be beneficial.
