My wife and I went to Iceland for the first time a few years ago and fell in love with the country. Especially the outstanding geology. Our trip was slightly different to yours because we spent a week travelling around the Icelandic coast on a cruise liner, stopping at various places in the north, west and then Reykjavik. We took coach trips to the usual tourist spots at the various locations. This was very enjoyable for us, but your videos showed us sights we never saw, and had some real breathtaking moments. The drone footage was outstanding and I kept playing those clips over and over. It must've been so enjoyable riding along in such beautiful settings, and I imagine it's something that will stay with you forever. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. The production was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed both both parts.
@TheGirlOnABike3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Holly. It really was incredible. It was amazing how much we could see by having the bikes to get around, off the beaten track. There were some really cool moments where we didn't quite realise what was around us, and then we fly the drone and see a new angle... WOW. Big thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It sounds like you both had an amazing adventure too

Beautiful footage. Can you tell me what is it like riding on that dark sandy looking volcanic ash? Is it like riding soft sand ? Thanks. Kam

yes exactly, it's like a thick deep black sand. The deeper section is really floaty and almost grapples the wheels trying to throw you off course. Some of the harder start is much firmer and easier to ride. Lots of gripping the bike with the knees and keeping the front light to glide through
