Love the videos. I binge all of them and respect your opinion! I am similar sizing 170 lbs and size 9 boots. I tend to find I enjoy sizing up and going a bit wider than you do. You’re consistent so it’s easy for me to know if you say it’s the right size for you I go up one size. Thanks for all the reviews!!

Thanks James. Nice to see the full review. Already purchased and fairly sure I’ll enjoy it, but definitely getting a hovercraft/mind expander/ or flagship for pow.

Hi Thanks for the review. Is this pretty similar to the Capita Mega Merc?

Your videos are quality. What would be your reco for someone expert, all mountain, surfer but wants a twin? Currently on an old arbor rocker. Was late on the Jones ME before they made it camber. I like when you say washy and easy to turn lol. Im tryig to cruise.

The YES Greats is pretty surfy for a twin but When you say you like "washy" do you mean forgiving?

Hey man ! Loving your videos :) Perfect review as always. I have a question but not related to this review. You seem to have a surfy riding style more focused on pure carving isn't ? If you would have to have only two boards on the Jones line what whould you choose ? A powder board and a carver I guess ? See ya :)

Many thanks. I come from a surfing background but love twins riding switch and such. Just older and have lots of injuries. Jones is a great brand but I'd never keep it with only them so this makes it hard for me. I'd get the Rally Cat for my daily driver and either the Hovercraft or Mind Expander for powder and harder carving. For you I don't know because I don't know your specs, detailed riding preferences, where you ride and a lot of other factors that go into a good recommendation. If you want to get into it more and do this right, hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/ or give me a little more info here so I can make a better guess.

@@thegoodridesnow interesting answer :) Yeah I just wanted to know what you would ride. I already exchange for my case through your website. I did something pretty similar for the past season. Montain twin for every day and Storm Wolf for powder and harder carving but the last season my Montain twin stayed at home for the most part and I'm thinking about dishing it for a Freecarver 6000 as my daily rider. Yeah not much a daily driver but I'm mostly carving :D

Oh good. Hopefully you got my reply then but if not I'm working through the que mostly in the order emails were received.

One thing. The Freecarver is fun as hell but it's a tough board to ride all day/every day. You might be better off with something else even though you mostly carve. I'd only do that if you mainly ride in good conditions and want to be on your game at all times. It's not very forgiving.

@@thegoodridesnow Ok I might take my mountain twin in the car just in case I'm lazy :D See ya man ! Enjoy what you're doing :) Keep pushing \m/

I been riding two seasons now on a Burton Instigator. I have grown to always be looking for the best side hit and love getting some air. Started doing 180s comfortably and even hit a few rails last season. Looking to up my game looking for more pop and stability at faster speeds. Would this be a good board for me or should I be looking for something stiffer? I'm looking for that all mountain quiver killer as I typically start my day hunting pow, going down groomers / cutting into trees with my ski friends and looking for side-hits, then halfway through my day I'll go find the park to hit some medium jumps and try some small rails. This 3rd season I'm really going to be pushing myself to go bigger and learn more. I'm getting the Burton step-ons and considering if Burton has a good board for me I would get the new EST step ons.

I'm not sure if this is the one. Take a look at the Jones Aviator 2.0 or YES Standard Uninc or maybe the Good Company if you don't set back in powder but it's full camber and will thump you if you catch an edge more than the boards above. Not sure if EST or Step On is the call for what you want to do. We are skipping lots of steps and you are giving me just enough info to guess. If you want to get into it more and do this right, hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. There are soo many things I don't know about you that I need to know to do this right. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

@@thegoodridesnow Appreciate the response. The amount of opinions and options out there is overwhelming. I'm trying to get my setup prior to the season starting, but starting to think maybe just wait and start my season off hunting down demos. I'll drop a line on your site, thank you.

Its not ideal if you ride steeper terrain or carve hard but if you ride pretty duck its doable. Height?
