Agreed. Graham's frequent comments about how nobody needs to spend x amount of money attending college and that we can learn everything we need through KZbin are wearing thin. I don't think we want KZbin "trained" doctors performing our surgeries, veterinarians caring for our pets, or attorneys defending us in court. This woman is a child welfare specialist, which takes time, education, and experience in order to assist children and families during intensely difficult periods of their lives.
@lizwoodard7726
@lizwoodard7726 3 жыл бұрын
@@lacey_heather yeah, i agree. a lot of financial "gurus" seem to totally wave off those who are receiving education to go into important fields. however, to be fair, i took graham's comment to mean that it shouldn't be so expensive to go to school in the first place and that his comment about learning everything on youtube was just sarcastic. plus, i don't usually take those personally since i feel it's more geared towards people who go to school just for the sake of going to school rather than those who are going to school with an educational or professional goal.

Yup. There were a couple Soldiers when I was in basic, who left their moms in charge of their checking accounts. 2 or 3 moms stole money from their kids. One even bought plane tickets to her daughter's BCT graduation with the daughter's debit card...without her permission of course. Another one found out her mom drained her account when she went to withdraw cash from the ATM. The drill sergeants made her set up a different checking account on base and redirect her direct deposit. Smh some family members are complete mooches.

For over 2 months now the leading crypto asset bitcoin is still trading strongly in a bullish pattern and will ever trigger more energy now that Biden has been successfully inaugurated as US president. No doubt bitcoin is very much in a positive pace and getting involved in day trading still remain the best alternative to grow the little we hold. For me success has been on my side for over 6 months ever since i got in touch with a pro trader known as Mr waylon Dustin. His accurate daily signals and strategy is top notch and have been able to record massive success by growing the little BTC i hold. This is going well so far (I'm at around the 5:42 mark) but I've just realized I want her to do well more because I'm really enjoying her personality than because it makes financial sense.

She has some great bundle deals! @Graham the extensions are worth it and help with putting less tension on your hair. Also, typically those extensions can last 1 to 2 years. So you can spread the cost over the time period. So happy for her!

The Army teaches personal finance for incoming Soldiers (and sometimes annually or every time you go to a new duty station) for several reasons - payday loan places, car dealerships, furniture stores, etc. often take advantage of young Soldiers who have little knowledge of how loans and credit work (and often little self control lol). It's pretty common to have dealerships charge crazy interest on auto loans (30%+) to military members, or at least attempt to. Also, for many of us, the Army was our first steady and somewhat decent (though in reality, it's pretty low-paying, considering it's a 24-hour/365 days a year job) paycheck. You always know you'll get paid on the 1st and 15th, and it's a difficult job to get fired from (unless you fail a PT test or don't maintain weight standards). This causes a lot of us to blow money on things we could never have before - like new cars, electronics, etc. Being young, out on your own for the first time, and having disposable income (you don't pay rent in the barracks and some Soldiers are paid a food allowance, depending on their unit/location) can be a destructive combination.
