I've been bumping to old cole for over 2 hours now, and it brings back so many memories. This man really helped me mature, music is powerful I was going thru a lot back then and Cole spoke to me. Thank God that I wasn't a fan of mainstream hip-hop about 6 years ago cause Cole and Kendrick were like that wise uncle that you tried to imitate.

J cole isn't the leader of the new school. The new school are these stupid rappers that rap about bitches and gettin head and money. J cole raps the truth and is the realest rapper in the game right now. Don't u dare compare him to the new school. If anything he is trying to bring real rap back from the 90's.

true, i think when they say he's the leader they mean he's just on a different level than any of the new gen rappers who have came out since 2007/8 ish. Him and kendrick completely exploded to another level that most new school rappers can't hope to attain.
