People are talking about Lethal Romancer, but the real fun one is sweet talker- The implication that Felix can sweet talk *any* faction out of trespassing penalty, including factions like Skaven and Lizardmen is utterly hilarious.

Thank GOD they made Gotrek a LH instead of LL. It was annoying to have him be a LL because then you would have to raise an army just to use him, something that you couldn't always afford when he came.

I had to use a mod to turn them into LH (its a rather decent mod) but now that its now official Im so glad that this is a thing. The only real 'downside' to this new update is mainly just the level 15 requirement as I would rather have access to them slightly earlier, but that isnt really a big deal.

honestly i havent felt so great about Warhammer in a long time. I still feel like the Empire needs more of their legendary lords in the game implemented but my god has the changes that have been revealed really go a long way to improve all 3 races. As a Dwarf lover i wish they did a little bit more in terms of rounding out their roster rather than just adding a bunch of more slayer units when we really needed large mass units that can stop large mass heavy factions from just rolling all over you but that's really it

I like it. Never even activated them for my account, because I simply see no point in having characters that are not there to stay, but now they seem to be actually useful. CA really going from win to win with this one.

Only real use i ever had for them, was sitting them to buff a garrison is a place likely to be attacked. They' were fairly strong lord/hero duo, a good addition to a Garrison. But that's about it. Being Temporary, you wouldn't build them an army, since you'd be spending those 20 turns with a lord that isn't gaining levels

This was one of my most desired changes for ToD, the second I saw Malakai I knew Gotrek and Felix would need changes. I am so glad for this as it really does honor the pair as the legendary duo they are. Plus its nice I can tick off another mod from my loading list since I used the G&F Agent Forever mods.

After this, I'd love to see a quest battle, and unique models for the ubersreik five. Maybe they are in a skaven ambush and need to be rescued? Or set it in a settlement battle with the player controlling the five and leading them through city street like a mission from vermintide

love the fact that they're permanent now to be honest I never had issues with Gotrek being a Legendary Lord, I've read Skavenslayer (admittedly that's the only book in the series that I've read) and Felix seems like a natural leader that can easily get an army together (and therefore is Lord material) and ultimately he follows Gotrek. I'm sure they'll still be good as Legendary Heroes I wonder when their nemesis will show up...

Amber Wizards are actually okay nowdays. Flock of Doom is a very solid spammable spell, they provide the only way to get any summons on the Empire list, and they are the only Imperial Wizards that can ride a Griffon.

As long as gotrix is alive or within a radius of Felix. Felix should be made unbreakable as well. Additionly if Felix dies in combat Gotrix should get a major stat boost and regain some of his lost heath (a second wind) Modders pls 🙏

I’d say gorduz is one of the most op heroes I’ve come across personally at least early on in the chaos dwarf campaign. He just buffs hobgoblins which you have a lot of, then you can continue to buff them in your own skill line. I rocked a hobgoblin army up until the last minute 😂

you dont like Beast Wizards? they're so cool though! You get a mage with a freaking gryphon mount and the amber spear spell is SOOOOOO good for taking care of single entities, which empire needs, and casting it while flying makes terrain unlikely to screw up the spell. they're so clutch

I love that there is a rework for them. I used the mod every playthrough. However according to lore with gotrek in first book he fought goblins first and lost his eye. Kinda sad to see him fighting slannesh out the gate.

In fairness to CA - Gotrek does lose an eye at the end of the first book - the first short story in the book has them fighting a Slaanesh cult on Geheimnisnacht. Sounds like they used some creative license to honour that. Though Felix would probably be shitting his pants, thinking the empire must really want vengeance at his taking part in that riot . . . .

Hey Nathan, I greatly enjoyed these videos and looking forward to 5.0. Do you have any insight regarding the in-game missions that were there for every single faction in WH2 Mortal Empires, but are completely absent in WH3 Immortal Empires? There was an immersive overarching narrative when they existed, but without them Immortal Empires plays like a sandbox and nothing more. Is there any chance they will return in the future, with scenarios that set the stage for the End Times?
