Another change: the "Summon the Elector Counts" action now teleports all non garrisoned Elector Counts to Karl Franz location. Pretty cool!

Yeah its honestly so good for dealing with crisis factions that spawn. Or if you want to send 3-4 armies up north to wipe out norsca and bring them back quickly when the crisis timer starts.

Imperial decree is awesome. I always played defensive as empire, kinda just going around helping other elector counts ot recapturing settlements and giving them back to counts. Not going on conquest anywhere until the empire is unified. (It’s in my idea what the empire army should do right? A force that works as reinforcements for lesser factions in confederation). Which gave massive bonuses in prestige and fielty so I never had to worry about those. The problem is, once you get over like 5 thousand prestige, it never goes down cause the most expensive actions cost 2000 per turn. And in the middle game I have tens of thousands that you have nothing to spend on. This thing finally gives a reason to have it and something to spend it on. Love it.

Well. Embargo said you CAN show DLC units. Just not play as them. My video abided by those rules. However there were apparently hidden rules.... You CAN show DLC units (but not too much). ....**Looks at Indy's 20 minute video about Thunderbarges**. Cool this makes sense. xD

Also huge props to the new elector count system we’re finally encouraged to actually spend and it will actually give something useful. And I can’t wait to play Gelt he’s basically Empire Teclis with his new campaign starting position

@@chookee1080 to put it simply there are many characters who are essentially the political leaders of a certain faction but have no real military presence or delegate it to another character for one reason or another. Emmanuelle is a aristocrat with zero ability to be on a battlefield and thats what Elspeth is for. Other examples is Lord Gnawdwell who is the ruler of Clan Mors but Queek is shown as its military leader(this also goes for all Skaven Clans btw) and Tyrion is who you play as but the Phoenix King and leader of the High Elves is Finubar.

@draconomega it's the old "wh2 base lords not having a campaign mechanic" thing that is catching up to them, compared to the DLC lords. They have fixed it now for the Empire by giving Franz/Volkmar(at WH3 launch) and Gelt their gimmick. Hopefully it's coming for HE as well. But beyond that, a race wide rework of influence to be more like the new prestige would be great too. Ironic, since prestige was mostly a hamstrung influence before!

I really feel like Markus Wolfheart could have used a bit of an adjustment to his campaign mechanics once you get out of Lustria the increase to enemy strength and all stops making sense, being able to Confederate the empire is silly, and he should have a chance to get Elec state troops in some of his reinforcement supplies

How does the Elector Counts system work in an Empire Co-op? Can you still unlock state troops, runefangs etc. if your buddy is occupying Empire Provinces?

"Summon the Elector count" now call for reinforcement, and a fellow Empire count pod will Land next to you

Thsy still need an update/overhaul of their roster to be more than just good enough for MP. Would also help if they got their detachments rule and were actually more cost effective (seeing how their numbers and costs are on par with elves).

One small tweak needed is to have wood resources increase recruitment rank for halberdiers along with spearmen and archers. Once I can recruit halberdiers I don’t really recruit anymore spearmen. Also when you confederate a legendary lord you can have access to their origins campaign mechanics.

They should've just had Bathsalt Gelt start in control of the southern border princes. It would've been perfect, it gives the empire something to do after unifying, head south pick up Gelt, and continue south to get Volkmar the Grim, then sail to the new world to save the huntsman. Wtf is the empire doing inside of Cathay, and starting at war?

Gelt heard about the Wietcong giving Cathay trouble and decided to introduce them to the lore of Napalm. I'm 90% Gelt's new starting position was influenced by all the memes comparing him to Colonel Kilgore from Apocalypse Now. On a Meta level it's similar to the reasoning for Wulfhart's position in Lustria. Basically to give Empire players a change of scenery and new enemies to fight.

I don't know how useful this will be for the empire. It doesn't really matter but I've noticed when I'm playing any other faction besides Empire the Empire ends up getting crushed in the long game. Which makes sense lower wise but every once in awhile it'd be cool if the good guys didn't lose
