So would you start kids working whips on their own like this, with no backhandspring or roundoff in front to introduce the skill? I've generally used Tony Retrosi's method of introducing the whip within a series of backhandsprings, but this looks like it's worth a try. I'll have my boys experiment with it when I get a chance and report back here on how it went.
