She looks very nice! I embrace her choice to wear her hair after losing her edges. We all should support more of this, especially stylist. My question is, how do we convince extension wearers to understand tension on the edges is what leads to tension alopecia in the first place? Our girls are wearing braids with such weight and tension on the edges younger and younger and are now facing this dilemma. Might hair stylist educate the client as to how often to give the hair a break from such. Constant weight and pulling wreaks havoc on fragile and/or weak edges. Thank you.

A lot of are losing our hair for various reasons but two of them are ponytails and braids that are pulling too tight on our scalp. I would love to see more of these styles done in a more protective way or moving towards a healthier hairstyle. Thanks for continuing to provide great content.

If she has some hair on the edges, you can use waterproof mascara to darken them a little. Something that won't smudge when you touch them. They'll look a little thicker.
