I know some hair clinics use it in combination with Minoxidil. It seems to act as a DHT blocker with some initial, tentative evidence suggesting that it works. Ok, For me personally, I’ve got very slight thinning on the crown area. Not enough to try minixidik or finasteride. I’ve tried derma rolling as it’s convenient… but I’ve used it for more than 6 months on a weekly basis. Tried different depths; 1.5mm, 0.5mm and 1mm And it has done absolutely NOTHING and I’ve given up. Gains are Nothing more and nothing less. I decided to use it solo as I’ve read on a study that apparently micro needling on its own without the help of minoxidil is also affective… in my experience and opinion, it’s BS. Kinda reminds me of the apparent studies of ketaconozol shampoo being as effective as minoxidil.. which is bollocks (I’ve tried that too and still use it once a week) and there’s no no gains with that either. It seems that micro needling may need to be paired with something topical. If micro needling alone has worked on Women and mice…. I don’t believe that’s the same for men and MPB.

I was fearful too. Been on fin for months and no gyno thankfully since I developed minor gyno from puberty. Best thing to do is start with 0.25mg a day and maybe some supplements that’ll lower your estrogen because since fin heightens your Testosterone that also means higher levels of estrogen, and for some that little push can give them ED, gyno, the basic sides but it’s rare. And if you go develop gyno even after stopping then use Raloxifene to help shrink it.

Anyway transplanted hair will fall out. Dermarolling with 0.5 mm after 1 month is fine . After 3 months switch to 0.75 mm. Anyone who has dermarolled with 0.5mm knows that it just punctures the top of skin,hardly penetrates deeper. I almost feel like ive not dermarolled whenever i used 0.5mm. Continuity is important for dermaroller benefits.. If you are so worried just use 0.5mm until you feel safe to increase depth of needle. Anyway top hair transplant doctor in my country confirmed this.

is it true that derma-roller produces more damage to the skin than other micro-needling solutions ? like stamp or pen
@jakubklinger2289
@jakubklinger2289 2 жыл бұрын
I tnink that is the truth. Rollers go into skin by 45 degree angle. Not ideal. I like dermapens and dermstamp more.

If i dermaroll and use minoxidil along with M shampoo (needed for my seborrheic dermatitis) and oral saw palmetto, after 2-3 years of starting this and getting most the hair recovered that i can possibly get back, can i not taper off the use of minoxidil if i keep up the rolling?

This channel continues to get worse and worse. Mindless reiteration of the same topics over and over, with very little or none (mostly none) new info. What was the point of this video? That you cannot know exactly which thing is helping you the most if you're using more than one thing at the same time? That not everyone is suited for the same treatment, that you need to do the treatment regularly, and that you don't really have any concrete answers? WOW, brilliant. There's like dozen of other videos on this channel about derma rolling with the same content. What new info did this video provide on the subject of derma rolling? Nothing. Stop being lazy with regurgitation of topics like finasteride, minox, derma rolling and maybe one other additional topic. Invest some actual effort in these videos, talk about new treatments (PDO Scalp Threading), treatments that are in development (Pyrilutamide), etc.
