The Watson trade was almost a parody of Cleveland's ineptitude. It was not football-sound, financially irresponsible, and the most tone-deaf public relations disaster ever! Yet the Cleveland "bro" crowd tried to defend it: "Hey, he's not been convicted of a felony yet. All 28 of the accusers were probably lying," etc.

The thumbnail is a lie. The texans did not get Stroud as a result of the Watson trade. They used the browns draft pick that they got in 2023 on Will Anderson. Stroud was picked with the Texan's own #2 pick that they got for sucking in 2022.

Drafting is not trading. You get draft picks in many trades, but what you do with the picks is called drafting. A trade does not become better or worse if you draft well or poorly. It is all about drafting.

It still boggles my mind at what the Browns gave up for Deshaun Watson & what the Broncos gave up for Russell Wilson. The Browns moreso because they already had a popular, franchise quarterback with a clean record in Baker Maxfield who they did absolutely dirty.

God Cleveland. It's like Cleveland is one of the worst teams in the league again but it's different this time. Before we had pity on them because they were just unlucky and things just never seemed to work out for them. But this time they 100% did it to themselves. A blind man could see that the Deshaun Watson trade was going to be terrible for them but they did it anyway and to give him a fully guaranteed $230 million contract is just beyond belief. There is no hope in Cleveland and honestly it really feels like they did it on purpose from just how obviously bad that trrade was going to be.

Just take the video down. Because even if Patrick mahomes would have went to another team there was a chance it wouldn't have been the same outcome. It's coaching staff and having a veteran QB in front of you to help teach you and develop you for the NFL

It's funny is everyone is shitting on the Browns now, but before that trade there were at least THREE other teams bidding for him and no one said it was a stupid idea then. Everyone was saying it was a no-brainer trade in the sports media, many were saying Mayfield was less than mid and didn't deserve a second contract. Oh those three other teams, Panthers, Falcons and Saints, there was one other team but we never found out who that was. But this doesn't matter, teams didn't bid only because they had a QB (or thought they had one at least), no team was going to stand on morality.
