Man HH I always love your videos and how you put your own twist in the products, I was wondering if you can do an update video on your lithium battery conversion buggy. Keep up the awesome informative videos.

What a great idea! I tested a very similar bag system (different brand), and you’re right about the Hogs. All they had to do was nudge that bag and more corn would fall out. Went through all 100 lbs or so of corn in about a week. Not very practical to go through that much corn…. However, I was honestly surprised how well the bag held up though, was expecting it to get shredded by the coons and hogs, but it survived unscathed, even with the hogs beating it around. Can’t wait to see some trail cam footage of yours in action!👍😁

Cool setup. We don't have hogs but we do have a huge coon population. Would be curious to see if they take advantage of that feeder. Maybe drill some small holes in that pvc elbow to drain water.

I’ll let you know how it goes. We have a ton of coons too. I forgot to mention that I drilled some small drain holes in the bottom in case water got in the spout.

How did you get that camo pattern painted?
@TheHandyHunter3 ай бұрын
I paint a base color then add a touch of second color and then use sponges to touch up the details. I’ll try to do a video on it soon. Thanks!

What is the approx. length of your L bracket? I may give it a try after the season.
@TheHandyHunter2 жыл бұрын
About 12inches. I checked it this weekend and all the feed was gone! My trail cam SD card was corrupted so I didn’t get any video. No holes in the bag from squirrels or coons. So far so good.

How did you attach the plate on the pvc to stop the feed?
@TheHandyHunter Жыл бұрын
I drilled some small screw holes through the edge of the metal and put some small wood type screws into the edge of the PVC. It holds really well.
@mattshears3906 Жыл бұрын
Also what angle did you cut your pvc on for the front end?
@TheHandyHunter Жыл бұрын
I cut about 1/4-1/2 inch off the bottom. You just need enough so the rain doesnt blow in. Also, drill small holes in the bottom of the pipe so water can drain if it does blow in. I havent had any problems. Good luck!

I like the idea of the bag, but I think PVC pipe is the way to go

PVC works too!

Can you do an update to see how it held up?
@TheHandyHunter8 ай бұрын
My bag is still holding up great. My problem is that it’s not big enough so the corn goes fast. Some people complained that squirrels would eat holes in it but they haven’t bothered mine. Hope that helps!

@@TheHandyHunter Thank you! I'm looking to build me a similar set up based off of yours for this off season to pump some protein to them.

@Ealum1013 awesome! I got plenty video of deer eating out of the spout. Only took them a day to start eating. Good luck!

Did it work ?
@TheHandyHunter Жыл бұрын
Yes it did! It’s still in great shape to this day with no holes etc. The only down side is that it doesnt hold much and the deer eat it quickly.

We dodged a bullet here in Trinity. Heading up to GA to plant food plots. Probably 2 weeks late, but had alot going on!! Have a great huntin season!🦌🦌🦌
@TheHandyHunter2 жыл бұрын
I planted two weeks ago and not a drop of rain so you are not late. I hope we get some soon. Deer like all thise tender sprouts anyway. Good luck and keep in touch!

They're not bear, squirrel or coon proof. Feed isn't cheap! Great adaption for Georgia, but not for Northern Hunters. Enjoy your concepts, Steve!!!
