With the GM aware that Lucas wouldn’t be ready and choosing not to re-sign D. Lewis, the decision to sign Williams-who is coming off a serious injury-while knowing there are uncertainties at right guard, reflects what I see as John’s negligence in constructing the offensive line for this year. This is a season where the team appears to have a real shot at competing for the division. Once again, if the team is held back due to the line’s performance, especially given Geno’s affordable contract, the offensive weapons at his disposal, and the potential of a special defense, John should be fired.

Is macntosh injured? I wondered all game why he wasn’t #2 to charbonet? All I could think all game was that we needed some speed in our run game. We looked slow and sluggish.
