I'm a Messianic Gentile who was born & raised in the Judeo Christian faith, living in the West, & have felt a leading to explore & learn about Yeshua as the Son of G-d, the song of man, & a Jew (which Christians either tacitly recognize or dismiss despite His Word). I also learned, and appreciate, the authoritative direction that it has for the Jewish people, vice the Gentiles, in the Torah/Old Testament. G-d's calling is ever present, but it's authoritative direction in the Torah/Old Testament is for the Jewish people. Finally, I very much appreciated your emphasis on those points as it is a very important part of explaining the weight (for lack of a better word) that it carries in the lives of the Jewish people from creation to today. For many reasons, I understand and appreciate the attention and reverence that is given to following His every Word as the Torah/Old Testament & history are filled with examples of Israel/Judah turning from G-d, experiencing G-d's judgement and rebuke, and returning to Him, just like what happens in all of our lives. @@markwaki3950 according to the Torah, Israelites must repent and return to Hashem (Deut 30.1-6). Tanakh claims He is the only Saviour and none else (Isaiah 43.11; 45.21-25). They are told clearly what to do (Isaiah 55.6-7). The Tanakh does not require the Jews to come to Christ. The Torah is given to them forever. Counting themselves to be “dead with Christ” according to the NT does imply they will lose their Jewish identity. But if the “old man is crucified with Christ” then why do Christians sin as everyone else? So the “dead with Christ” idea is good on paper, but it hasn’t worked, has it?

@@TheHebrewBible Thanks for responding. I'm a Christian and I don't speak Hebrew, though I'm very interested in the word meanings of the original language. Thus, my presence here. To me, Christianity is still Judaism. The gentiles were brought into the one faith and we're all about YHWH and his Messiah {Christ}. However, Christians believe that Jesus is God and is the same promised Saviour, YHWH. As you must know, all the first Christians were Jews, and for the most part, they maintained all their Jewish traditions and identity. Even today there's a growing community of Christian Jews right in Israel, who still maintain the usual traditions, though they don't really have to just as the apostle Paul. The Old Testament promises a replacement covenant for all {Jer 31:31-32} as well as alludes to a born-again experience {Eze 36:26} and a new commandment of Love, which is not new at all as you've already highlighted with your scripture reference {Deu 30:6}. So, regarding the fact that a born-again Christian continues to sin after resurrecting with Christ, that's clearly a spiritual matter. Afterall, we don't have to die physically to attain this status, and there is nothing good in the flesh. Nothing the flesh does is sufficient to redeem itself, not even physical death, let alone fulfilling the super strenuous terms and conditions of the law that no one except Christ was able to accomplish {Psa 40:7-8}. All have sinned. Christians are not lawless; however, as we keep the ten commandments, being the breakdown of the singular love commandment. In doing this, our new hearts are continually sanctified and drawn nearer to God. 1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

That doctrine from your church is wrong. Start by using Interlinear Text. Go to Matthew 7:23 what does Thayer's Greek Lexicon say about the Greek word used for "iniquity" and what is the prior Greek word it comes from? It means "without Jewish Law" against Torah. The Protestant Reformers knew this - they divided the Law wrongly in the end. Into civil, moral and ceremony categories. We are supposed to be keeping the Feasts. His Supper is the PASSOVER. Not 🚫 communion inherited from Rome. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 " let us keep the feast" . If you think we are not supposed to obey Torah you have been deceived. The only difference is Sacrifices are over by the once for all Sacrifice. The Law hasn't changed - He puts it on the heart now - location has changed.

when you scrutinise the trinity against scripture it clearly contradicts the known format of what was known as standard knowledge among the Hebrews which was that God was one not a composition of Gods thats what the other nations believed the Greeks and Romans were no better. That is why the j£ws wanted to stone Jesus because he spoke with authority as God this doesn’t contradict scripture because because God does give his authority to whom he choses to even the angel of the Lord spoke as if he was God…its just that no man had ever spoke with authority as God so the j|£ws sought to stone him they accused him of a mere man talking as if he was God to which Jesus responds ‘Are Ye not gods’..which was recalling Adam position as God on earth..those who followed God God does give his authority to speak as God because thy are one with God… ironically their very scripture stated that the messiah would be given all authority.. they knew the truth but just hated Jesus because he spoke to their conscious and hypocrisy and they hated him for it…the scriptures is simple if you just allow the scripture to interpret itself instead of you reading cultural bias and traditions into it. ….what is hypostatic union anyways? just inventing terms/concepts into the scripture the word Trinity a pantheon of gods who collectively make up the god head thats a pagan term....God is literally the opposite of those pagan nations beliefs he is the only one self sustain self existing..i am that i am simple...BTW Jehovah isn’t a name its a rendering of the statement God made when Moses asked his name...Ironically Moses was used to other nations god having a name like a person so he asked ...Gods answer back to Moses refuted that custom and at the same time declared what it truly meant to God The Most High..God is not like the gods of the other nations having names and being more or less creations..’I am that i am’…Gods statement of his Supremacy and Eternal nature and none like him not created or begotten..I am that i am…..so simple how did it go from that to where we are now..confusion? Jesus the man died on the cross for my sins if i believe that and repent i now have the right to be called a child of God by Gods unmerited grace not by what i can do….where in that is the belief in theTrinity needed for my salvation
