Stolas' attitude at the beginning of the episode is not because he's living with Blitz. Remember that he has just lost everything: his status, his power, and most importantly: the custody of his daughter. On top of all that, he doesn't have his antidepressants, so being off his medication makes everything worse. He's very much in love with Blitz, but he's depressed about everything else that's happening in his life, especially being separated from Octavia.

THANK YOU for noticing that Via had her headphones in when Stella was mocking Stolas for trying to call for a month. So many other reactors missed that and were like, "Well, she knows he's been calling all month, why is she so mad at him?" Among other reasons not to blame her for her behavior, that's a big one. And yeah, "I'll just get older / I'll grow without you, and you'll only know my name" is a lyric that hit me very hard, too. It's heartbreaking for a kid to truly believe their parent doesn't even want to know them 😥 When you paused the credits on the songs, I noticed they have a typo! They credit "I Will Be Okay" to "Barrett Wilbert Reed", but her last name is Weed... I wonder if they'll catch that and post a correction somewhere?

Seen a lot of people upset that it was just a hug, not a kiss, and that Stolas wasn't hugging back. So here's the thing... watch their eyelines in the last few moments, as well as their faces. Because they both do that nonverbal kiss cue where they look at each other's eyes and then lips and then eyes again, but they do it mismatched. Stolas' eyeline is on Blitz's eyes in time to see Blitz look at his mouth and then his eyes. And you see Stolas see it and pull back, just a little, in surprise/uncertainty. And Blitz sees that. And we see him very consciously make the decision to change to a hug. Because what Stolas needs at the moment is comfort. And not to feel like there's any pressure. They both obviously know something is still there, but remember too, Stolas is the inexperienced one out of the two of them when it comes to this. Blitz has been in love before, even if he acted real shitty about it. Stolas knows very little about actual love (not romance novels/romcoms), what it looks like reciprocated, and what to do with it when it is. I have hope, but I think it's gonna be slow. Stolas didn't hug him back, but we do see him close his eyes and lean into it a bit at the end.

I personally tend to think he was in love with Verosika as well; he still has pictures of them in his phone and hated her waaaay to much to not have had feelings for her. He could deal with that until he found out she felt the same and THAT was too frightening.

And given the context clues, like it being heavily implied that he dated her when he was in a stage of his life where he was an alcoholic who spent his time partying + her basically saying that he never made an effort in bed with her, I think he saw their relationship as casual. Which makes sense as he wouldn't at that time be ready for a real relationship. I don't think he would have dated her at all if he had deeply romantic feelings for her. But I do think he loves her as someone he cares about in general. And obviously feels bad for basically using her. And personally I think the reason why he developed feelings for Stolas in the first place is because 1. it was the first time he received the type of emotional intimacy he's longed for(Stolas wanting him because he's from his past. Unlike how everyone else from his past hates him) and 2. Because he felt comfort in having sexual intimacy with Stolas who gave him confidence by being enthusiastic with everything he does.(It may have been intimidating trying to please a succubus.) And idk, dynamic wise, Verosika comes across more like a friend. They're just too similar in temperament to make sense as a healthy long term relationship. Given that he fell for Fizz when he was a teen and more shy, and Stolas has that same energy as a grown adult, that's probably more the type of person Blitz is interested in for a serious relationship. That's just my take tho lol

Him using the book was illegal, but the crystal is fine since Stolas got it directly and officially from Ozzie, which makes Blitz having and using it legal. Well... season 1 episode 4 has a Santa Blitz at 7:58 minutes XD you guys are safe I've been looking forward to you guys' reaction to Octavia's song! The writer (who writes songs for both Hazbin and Helluva, Sam Haft, absolute legend) said that this song was ready for as long as Stolas' song to her was, and it is a reprise to it! As for Blitz's wrist thing, it's still there cuz it's legal, unlike Stolas' book usage in their "transaction". In "Full Moon" Stolas mentions that it's legally registered in Blitz's name, so he's free to use it without breaking demon law.

Merry Sinsmas guys!!! So news on Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. Viv decided she wants to put out next season more closer together, so there is going to be a bit of a hiatus till season 3 drops. But She did say in the mean time we will be getting more Helluva Shorts! So fun to come! To add, 2 of the songs featured in this episode got their full versions released on Viv's channel for Sinsmas. SO you can enjoy the full versions instead of them being in the background. No word yet on Hazbin Hotel Season 2 release date, but they did release a character reveal on Xmas. It's the first reveal of the new season to come, so this should mean we will be getting teases for the next few months at least. Maybe if were lucky we may even get a teaser trailer.

1000% Stolas' mental health has always been precarious, but this back half of s2 HURT. Especially from Mastermind on. He didn't expect to survive the trial, and, as funny as it is, him telling Andrealphus to "do it" doesn't inspire confidence. And that was BEFORE Octavia's ultimatum. I'm clinging to the fact that Blitz has been supportive af in all the exceedingly patient ways you need someone to be when you're going through it. It doesn't feel like he's missing the red flags. There are so many little moments that have my whole heart. Like Blitz discretely catching his hands after he hits himself in the head, taking the phone away long enough to get him out of the house. Obviously, there's only so much you can do and only so much you should feel responsible for, but, for better or worse, Blitz has always been pretty good at caring for people who aren't himself.

This episode is truly a masterpiece to Christmas special present that we won’t forget till next year with S3 in the development process. But we might be getting some Helluva Shorts while we wait till S3 comes back in action with some crazy episodes, songs, new locations, characters and much more. 😄 Also it seems interesting to state that Octavia’s VA did do some singing during the broadways, as well we heard her singing before in S1- Ep Loo loo land episode with the song “F-K you dad” song with it being the VA singing within her band providing the music. With that said, this might be a detail people who are fan of owls noticing that Stolas is acting the same behavior as a Owl when they notice a Pregnancy around them. It’s a detail that go by people’s head without knowing. This might a detail section if you like to hear about each character with rings they associate with, so these are my thoughts and details: •Moxxie and Millie are Wrath imps that they fight their way in Sinmas but it’s mostly a play fight way. Hints Millie’s family wearing sweaters with weapons on them •Loona is from gluttony ring, so she and her friends dressed up as foods and they tend to eat a lot on the Sinmas celebration •Blitz: He seems to be either pride or greed, but we might have to wait and see for S3 out there to discover his story. So that is all and Merry Christmas to you both and have a great holidays ahead. ✨

While we do still get the shorts while we wait for season 3 I sadly believe it's gonna take a lot longer than a year before season 3 comes out🥲 Vivienne has said it will take quite a while because they want to be able to have a more consistent release schedule, following a more classic model. She's said that this was a very big season that took a very long time to air and they think it will be best If for the show when the wait in between episodes is not gonna be that long and inconsistent, especially because season 3 is gonna be an even bigger season with 15 episodes. That means they will finish most the episodes first before airing them. If you take a look at when the season 1 finale came out and compare it to when Sinsmas came out you'll realize it took them about 3 years and 2 months to release the season in it's entirety..👀 so I think we'll at least have a wait of 2 years If not longer since the season is longer

I had just enough time to watch through the episode once before I had to head off for work, and part of my brain spent the entire shift _gnawing_ on this one while I processed everything, because _holy _*_HELL_*_ was this a great one:_ - It's honestly heartwarming to see how much effort Blitzø's putting into trying to help Stolas. Besides breakfast, it looks like he cleaned up the apartment, and I'd imagine the comforting nest of plushes was his idea, too. (The brief chat about his horse fixation may also be the first in-universe reference we've gotten to the studio's namesake, Spindle -- I don't know if what I've heard is _accurate,_ but the dramatic smoke alluding to the fire suggests that it _might_ line up! If not, blame Ayylmao.) - It's pretty easy to tell that Stolas was instinctively looking for his usual bottle of antidepressants, as he's still running on routines at this point, and it sounded like he might take an over-the-counter variety that doesn't require a prescription if Blitzø could've picked some up. But... the way he just _stopped_ makes me worry that Stolas is _ashamed_ of his depression and need for medication to manage his symptoms, as if he's internalized some stigma that paints psychoemotional disorders like cPTSD and clinical depression as _weakness._ (This man is in _dire_ need of a therapist, but while I know of at least _one_ with an intense interest in Stolas's case, she's on _this_ side of the Fourth Wall.) - While it's not exactly how I imagined him pitching the idea, Blitzø offering to bring Stolas on at IMP as the receptionist and dispatch brings their conversation from the start of the season full-circle -- and between his knack for legal documents and his skill with words, he's arguably a better fit for the position than Loona is, which frees her up to assist in the field as a second melee specialist. (Blitzø's probably _right,_ too -- having something that gets him out of the house might help his emotional state.) - The sheer contrast between Moxxie and Millie's cheerful, playful fight around the office and Stolas's horrified, confused expressions over how two people so _clearly_ in love could be _enjoying_ fighting with each other _really_ illustrates the divide between their lives. There's a lot of nuance to the world that he's never really _seen_ from inside the palace walls. - I feel like Octavia _has_ to be aware of the dynamic between her parents at this point, and that may be part of why it's tearing her up so much. I'm a child of divorce, so I've been in a similar place as the one she's in right now -- between the lyrics and the imagery in her song, it seems clear to me that Via's still coming to terms with the fact that the happy home life she _thought_ she had growing up, the foundation upon which she built her sense of identity and belonging, was a _sham._ Even as her mother and uncle turn her childhood home into a frozen crypt haunted by the ghosts of her past, Via's created this little sanctuary for herself, filled with reminders of her father and boxes of his keepsakes that Stella probably had thrown out; she still _wants_ that happy family that her dad made her believe she had, still _wants_ the feeling of security from when Stolas sang the lullaby she called back to in her song, but the loss of that feeling still stings too much for her to think about where to go next. Like she said, she'll be okay, even though she's not okay _today._ - The revelation that Stolas was keeping his antidepressants a _secret_ stung pretty hard for me. Besides seemingly affirming my suspicion that he sees it as shameful, it means he's been off his meds for a _month_ -- even an _extended-release_ formula would've worked its way out of his system in _that_ span of time. For the first time in over 25 years, Stolas is dealing with his emotions without _any_ guardrails -- everything's _completely unfiltered_ right now. - The hit they were hired for is even more powerful when you realize it's a reflection of the job from the first episode. Everything from the client and the general spiel, to the setup of the reveal of the target, right down to the framing of the key shots and the placement of everyone in the scene, directly calls back to that first hit against Martha -- but this time, for the first time _ever, _*_Blitzø doesn't want to kill a target._* He's never really even _hesitated_ to finish a job before now... but in that moment, he saw a symbolic reflection of the life he _could_ have, the life he _wants,_ and he made the choice to show _mercy._ - Three cheers for Stolas turning Andrealphus's exceptionally punchable face into roadkill, amirite? - Alright, if Loona was able to go full Feral Hellhound _the entire time,_ Blitzø was an _idiot_ for sticking her behind a desk at the office. - The callback to the monster fish from S1E3 in the fight against the ice dragon was a fantastic little touch. (I do wonder who _owns_ that arsenal Millie raided, though -- it could just be another wing of the palace, but it looked like a standalone structure, meaning it may be the servants' quarters... which makes it feel significant that the decor is all still Stolas's.) - As powerful as he is next to the IMP crew and Stolas right now, Andrealphus is still just a Marquis -- Stolas normally outranks him in both status and power, which would mean _Octavia_ does too. She didn't just _block_ her uncle's attack, she completely _dispelled_ it, before taking the wind out of him with a _shockwave_ -- she's _definitely_ stronger than Andrealphus, even without her full power. - As much as Via isn't a fan of Blitzø, the two of them are often on a similar wavelength. I still think they could get along if she ever gave him a fair chance at it. - The fallout between Via and Stolas is rough, because I can see where they're _both_ coming from. Stolas spent nearly two decades enduring Stella's abuse for Via's sake, all to give her the normal childhood experience he never _had_ -- but he never stopped to ask _her_ how she felt about it, and seemed to genuinely not see how much she'd changed and grown, which might've been a good opportunity to reassess whether keeping her in the dark about the troubles he was dealing with would've been _more_ painful than having her find out on her _own._ (Stolas is so _avoidant_ of conflict that he inevitably _traps_ himself in situations where it's _unavoidable.)_ - And Via... honestly, I _know_ how she felt when she said that she thought it was *_her_*_ fault_ that Stolas was depressed enough to need medication, _because I've thought the same thing about _*_my_*_ family's divorce._ Kids find out about their parents' struggles eventually, and if their parents kept those struggles _secret,_ the easiest conclusion to reach is that it's because _they blame _*_you_*_ for it._ Could Stolas have avoided this by honestly opening up to Octavia about his struggles with depression and the burdens he's had to carry? _Maybe,_ but we'll never _know,_ because he never _did!_ She's _justified_ in feeling upset that her father threw his life away for an Imp without even _thinking_ about how he would be leaving her forever, and her anger and grief are _valid_ -- but right now, she's just lashing out, hurting Stolas the same way _he_ hurt _her,_ and that's not really helping _either_ of them. I _know_ she's smart enough to realize what's happened, but I don't see that happening until at least midway into Season 3. - I've been told to my face by my father that he saw me as an obligation, so I feel qualified to say with certainty that _Stolas has _*_never_*_ felt that way about Octavia_ -- the way he acts, even just within this scene, make that irrefutably clear. Y'know who _does_ act like a parent who sees their child as an obligation? *_Stella._* - ...Admittedly, I think we all expected that Millie and Moxxie's active sex life would result in something _eventually,_ but that positive pregnancy test is still _huge._ Having a kid is a literally life-changing event, and while I'd be shocked if the two of them hadn't at least _discussed_ it before, it's pretty clear from her reaction and the fact she's keeping it quiet from everyone except Sal that Millie doesn't feel _ready_ to make that choice yet -- even if absolutely nothing goes wrong, it'd mean putting her job on the back burner for at least a chunk of the next few years, entrusting Blitzø and Loona to keep Moxxie safe while she's not able to. I think she's afraid of that surrender of autonomy more than anything, of not being able to make decisions purely for herself anymore when there's another life on the line besides hers. (That said, I don't envy _anyone_ who threatens the kid. Millie would pick a fight with Satan himself to protect her child, I don't doubt that for a second -- and for as paralytically anxious as he'll be when she tells him, Moxxie would be an *_amazing_* dad.) - Seeing Loona coming out of her shell around Gigi and Russ feels bigger than the scene can really allow. She's becoming more comfortable around others and genuinely empathetic with her family at IMP, and it feels like it started after she befriended those two at Bee's party. - Blitzø's not very experienced at being emotionally supportive, but he made a great choice opening up about Barb. A shared experience with being hated by someone who you still deeply care about let him bridge the gap, and he did a good job of trying to offer Stolas some helpful advice from his own lived experience -- and even after everything the day threw at them, he managed to get Stolas to smile and laugh by letting himself be the goofy, outgoing dork he was 25 years ago. - There's _so_ many big dominoes that got set up in this episode, and I'd wager Season 3 is going to topple most of them. I don't see the status quo staying where it's at once _any_ of them hit the ground, but debating which one will start to tilt _first_ is already getting me hyped! S3E1 can't get here soon enough!

I've been checking your channel for 2 days straight just in case I missed the notification for this one, because hoo boy, this one sure was heavy. I'll start off by saying I am a huge Stolas fanboy personally, so it's sad to see this happen to him, but on the other hand I also think it's probably for the better that he gets to be held accountable for unintentionally neglecting Octavia like he has done up until this point. Yes all these things happening are in large part because of Stella (and now Andrealphus as well), but Stolas *did* prioritize Blitz almost every time he could've bonded with his daughter throughout the show. Hell, he even did so when he was *supposed* to be spending time with her. Not to mention that in Octavia's eyes, during the previous episode, Stolas was willing to straight up *die* for Blitz without even seemingly thinking about it. Sure he did the right thing saving Blitzo's life, as he mentions by the end, but I can't help but feel he could've talked this out with his daughter a long time ago (especially considering they tried to have him assassinated!) - they've had plenty of opportunities to do so. Also listen to the words he uses when he realized how badly he fucked up on this, just before leaving the IMP office to see Via. It's just heartbreaking to see, especially when Octavia is pretty much already set to proceed like she is for the time being. I assume Stolas really was just too excited with Blitz to think about all this rationally and the effects it would have on Octavia, especially because Blitz is really the only *other* good thing he's ever known, and he obviously don't want him gone. It's just a bad situation born from bad circumstances, but I'm certain Octavia will figure out what's up with that at some point in Season 3, she clearly still likes Stolas to *some* degree. In the end, from Octavia's perspective and from what she knows, she's definitely not wrong in doing this and I totally understand where she's coming from. (I've been listening her song on repeat ever since I first watched the episode, it's just SO GOOD!!) All in all, I think Stolas should take this blow, get some character development from it (not least from having to live among the lower classes!), and return to Octavia once he's grown a little from all this. Let's see if maybe he could get some help from Asmodeus and Vassago to soften his sentence a little too (and give Stella & Andrealphus what they deserve!) And PLEASE, I need to see so much more of Octavia going forward! Anyway, it's been a blast following along with you guys on Helluva Boss so far, and I'm really looking forward to doing the same in Season 3! It's always satisfying to see reaction channels genuinely enjoy something as much as you do, it's why movie theaters are still a thing, audience reactions can improve the viewing experience, and yours objectively does. I hope you're ready for 30 more main episodes, and an unknown number of shorts yet to come. Season 3 and 4 are going to have 15 episodes each!!! So many songs!!! There was so much development in this one episode. Imagine if each of the next 30 episodes all aim for that level of development. We will probably still get stand-alone episodes written by Adam Neylan or Brandon Rogers, such as Exes and Ohs, or Ghostf**kers, but every episode Viv writes is going to go all out for sure ❤️‍🔥 I'm predicting right now 12/24/2024 we will get a MAIN Helluva Boss episode with Wally Wackford as the protagonist or focus, I know Viv can make that very compelling ❤️‍🔥

Me and others have a theory in regards to Loona's new badass form. And that is i and others believe that Loona may actually be related to Marchosia, the cruel she wolf goetia demon. Now if Vivziepop confirms that this is true then that is fucking awesome because that means that Loona is at least part goetia.

Millie asking Moxxie “you know I love you right?” might be her considering abortion. She might be scared about having a baby, though I do think everyone would love hearing the news but I’m not really sure on Millie’s feelings on having kids

If she's not planning on keeping the pregnancy, she'd want to keep her folks from finding out -- I don't imagine the more socially conservative Wrath locals are as supportive of a woman's right to choose, and they may try to pressure her into having the child if they find out. (Her keeping it quiet from Moxxie is less understandable, though. I mean, she _knows_ he's the most compassionate and empathetic guy in Hell -- _whatever_ she decides, he'll stand by her.) On the other hand, she may genuinely _want_ to start a family with Moxxie, but knows how _dangerous_ that'd be. Even setting aside the inherent risks of a pregnancy, the entire crew is on a half-dozen different hit-lists at this point -- Andrealphus just swore revenge a few hours before, and Moxxie's father has ample reason to want to hit IMP where it hurts... and given how much just the _hormones_ threw Millie off her game, just _imagine_ how hard it's going to be to protect her found family in a couple of months. She'd never be able to live with herself if something happened to Moxxie while she was stuck on the sidelines. It's a difficult choice to make, and Millie wouldn't be panicking and trying to keep it quiet if she'd already made up her mind -- _both_ options are scary in their own ways. But I _do_ hope she tells Moxxie. He'd be supportive and understanding of whatever choice she wants to make, but he deserves to at least have a voice in the conversation, and it'd break his heart if he felt like Millie didn't trust him to support her the way _she's_ supported _him._ (Besides, he'd make an *_amazing_* dad, let's be honest. And Stolas would be a good source of parenting advice, too -- he's the only member of the company who's _had_ a kid, after all.)

@Nitrinoxus Fully agree, I do also wonder if Moxxie would panic he'd try so hard to be a better father then his own dad was. Not to mention that his dad and Striker would both be targeting Millie while she's pregnant and then their newborn child. Could also be that because She is a wrath demon she may feel that she's unfit to be a loving mother, definitely something Moxxie and Blitz would talk her out off. Also it seemed to have been an unplanned pregnancy which just adds to her anxiety.

@nevembra9850 Given their active sex life, I'd be genuinely shocked if the two of them hadn't at least _discussed_ having kids at some point (though I'd be _less_ shocked to learn that Moxxie's brain shorted out the last time they did so). There's definitely strong evidence that it was unplanned, of course, but perhaps not completely unexpected -- Millie knew where and how to get a test without Moxxie knowing, and I can imagine there's always a little voice in the back of Moxxie's head after each round with his wife, wondering, 'Is this gonna be _the one...?'_

I have some theories about Loona being a higher class of hellhound . Could she be a descendant of Cerberus or even Fenir. Loona is stronger than the average hellhound and the only wolf hound ( I’ve always thought of Cerberus as a wolf) She can use magic, and transformation which only one other hellhound has been able to use human form (Tex) which I assume is because of his relationship with Bee. Not many hellborn( imps, hellhound)can use human forms whereas sucubis are under Ozzie the original creator of the crystal. Loona has also been to LA before so she has a high level of magic use. She is definitely not a regular hellhound. I can’t wait to see more of her. I also hope that Via finds out about Stella hiring striker and then starts to understand the situation. I hope that she will find out and go undercover to recover Stolas status and power. Maybe even get help from Ozzie, fizz, bee, verosaka. As a way to get solid proof that it was all her mom and uncle doing. They would be punished for it by a ticked off satan and maybe Lucifer. Just my thoughts and I love you reactions!!

Not trying to defend Stella and Andry (although they are terrible I'm not denying that), but their opinion held little to no significance when it comes to Octavia's conclusion, Stolas did lie to her, he chose Blitzø over his daughter, over and over again (I know it's more complicated than that) but she had the right to think that way, and no one but Stolas was the reason behind such decision, that was the mature thing to do, she doesn't need to understand, because she already does.
