Overlord season 1 was also released as a movie at some point. In that movie, we were shown Suzuki Satoru (Momonga in real life) connecting to that console at your 3:42.

To give an idea of Ainz's situation in Overlord, imagine playing World Of Warcraft when suddenly you (in the body of your in-game avatar) got transported to Narnia, Westeros, or Middle Earth, and (for some inexplicable reason) the items, magic system, and even the some of the game mechanics from WOW got transferred over here with you as well.

Reading the light novels is not gonna a bad decision. There are currently 16 volumes + side story volume
