By experience loss he meant that ainz would probably lose levels if enough experience is lost.

Oh gah, I didn't even know that it was possible to lose a whole level or more! That is wild! So the situations for using such spells would definitely need to be dire.

The author of Overlord is actually a gamer himself, and started writing the series because he wasn't able to play DND with his friends. I think the specific edition is 3.5 but I'm pretty sure it's not exclusive and he has taken elements from other editions as well. Here's how the activation of The Goal of All Life is Death was described in the light novel. "Then, Ainz’s trump card took effect. In that moment - the world died. This was not metaphorical. Everything died. The [Einherjar] evaporated into white mist as it couched its lance, and dispersed before Ainz’s eyes. Even a homunculus with no concept of life died instantly. Shalltear’s familiars shared the same fate, unable to resist the destruction which overtook them. That was not all. Even the air - which was not even alive to begin with - fell into death. For over one hundred meters in all directions, the air was no longer breathable. If any living creature tried to respire within that area, their lungs would be corrupted by the deadly air, and they would die. Neither did the land escape the embrace of death. The terrain in a hundred-meter radius was instantly transmuted into sand. Only Shalltear and Ainz could move in this world, where only death remained. Ainz’s trump card, [The Goal of All Life is Death], strengthened the effect of instant death magic and skills. Thus augmented, those instant-death effects could bypass any immunities or resistance and kill their targets after a certain amount of time had passed. One could resist it by using a resurrection effect on themselves within twelve seconds, as Shalltear had. The air and the land had also died because of that effect. In Yggdrasil, the environment would not have succumbed, but in this new world, the effects were quite appropriate to the skill. All things were equal in the face of Death."

That is freaking wild! I love that description. It makes it so much more epic and shows the magnitude of the effects of that spell!

@@TheHeckOfficial yeah, though not technically a spell, as it's a secret class skill that buffs instant death spells used in conjunction with it, and has a 100 hour cooldown before it can be used again.

8:55 there's an answer to that actually! the maximum level in Yggdrasil is 100, but the exp bar still grows past that. so like, you won't level up to lvl101, but you _will_ have some exp saved up if you ever need it for spells or die.

If the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown is destroyed then the guild is disbanded and the tomb of Nazirick is desroyed. Ainz usually uses a fake one outside of Nazirick

If they do the Holy Kingdom Arc justice then the movie will be a freaking banger! The Holy kingdom arc is the best arc in the entire light novel! I am quite exited!

finally!!!!!!!!! overlord got me back into reading!! also the movie is coming to US theaters in november in both languages! also the audio issue is on your end it wouldve fixed with a quick reload
